Copilot should be an opt in
As a writer I find having copilot automatically including on word incredibly disruptive to my work flow. There seems to be no way of removing this new icon from the body of my documents.

Current version is slow, unresponsive and crashes.
I haven’t used 365 apps or word for a while on my iPhone, it was originally functional of sorts, but the version installed of late is appalling, difficult to navigate and use. I gave up. Not sure I’ll be renewing my subscription either, because as a devout Apple fan, it’s impossible to save my documents on my iCloud, and I’m forced to use one drive. Yet another example of limiting users choices, for storage other than on Microsoft’s servers whilst using the mobile app. It’s clunky at best. Disappointing effort for a multi-billion dollar company. Not impressed…
This app really helps with school and I like it a lot.

Using Word on an IPad is a nightmare. It’s so hard to find anything on the toolbar, even obvious things like numbering pages.
Word is probably the app I use most, as a writer. It is fantastic. Adaptable, dependable, easy to use. BUT the latest update has stuck Copilot front and centre on my dash, and every time I open a doc I get a popup asking if I want to use Copilot. I do not. AI is a scourge for creatives. If I dismiss the popup I do not want to see it again. Please tweak this so it isn't constantly shoved in my face. If I need an AI summary of a tax document I will ask. Otherwise please assume I am capable of writing my own prose. Thaaanks
The lack of cohesiveness of the resource. Too much focus on syncing the application to your Microsoft email which seems futile. Over again doesn’t work on most modern Apple iPad to the most basic laptop. If the focus is on the consume buying the product can at least make it a lot more efficient and convenient with no sign in just click pay put your card details in. My personal recommendation as a consume is keep it simple and basic. No one has nor wants to have time for technical errors and assistance of Microsoft (respectfully). Especially for university students etc simolar to me. I want to be able to write my essays on Word Doc with ease. I found your service was a lot more cohesive back in the day ironically it’s the added Microsoft sign that is always a hit and miss. I feel that it’s irrelevant also to Microsoft getting paid. Suggestion : if you could just make a pop up bar that you pay in for directly on the FIRST front face bar to your affiliate Microsoft. Easy!
Copilot is being rammed down the throats of all users of Office, across both mobile and desktop. There is no way to turn it off. This is obviously completely intentional by Microsoft. Absolutely venal behaviour. It’s a huge privacy risk - one accidental click and the entire contents of a confidential document gets sucked into Copilot for analysis. I am cancelling my subscription.
This is innovative technology at its best. Great Job!
