He founded Mid Bay News with one goal - to keep the community connected and informed about everything going on, from town hall to the sports fields of the Twin Cities of Niceville and Valparaiso and the runways and test facilities of Eglin Air Force Base. After all, studies show that when people don't have access to a local news source about their community, governments become more wasteful, and residents lose pride in their city, leading to further economic decline. We want to change the way the news business works by shifting power from consolidated corporations to smaller, locally-based operations which have the trust and the ear of the people they write for. For too long, corporate news has prioritized making money for shareholders at the expense of the citizens that need a watchdog. For many local newspapers and television stations - the economic reality put in place by the news giants has meant joining up with a vast, faceless network or folding under their weight. It doesn't have to be this way - and you can help us change the situation. If you support that mission - we need your help. Download our app today and let's put a dent in the corporate news that divides us and put together a local news infrastructure that unites us for stronger towns and cities. Mid Bay News is a local digital news outlet that gets you the info you want and need about developing stories, upcoming events, and local sports from Niceville, Valparaiso, Eglin Air Force Base, and the surrounding areas! Don't waste time sifting through Facebook groups, local newspapers, or TV stations for morsels of news for our area. Get everything you need in one place. Mid Bay News and its parent company, Abstract Creative Communications, aim to create a local news business model that delivers informative, actionable content to residents so those citizens are empowered to take control of their city's future for the better. Mid Bay News was created by a former television reporter and public affairs expert for local government, so you know the information is reliable and well-written. ## Mid Bay News Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource116/v4/b7/0e/6e/b70e6ed8-af81-5cec-d8a9-6de789a76bc8/07a237d0-277f-4042-b5f3-386a0b6a64fa_5.5_Screen_1-2.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource116/v4/f3/76/53/f37653f2-34a1-637b-a4a3-570d9256f8d6/6eab1129-d972-49c1-a4e9-d9ea845e81fc_5.5_Screen_1-3.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource126/v4/ac/4a/d5/ac4ad59d-7768-1475-1043-3a4efe3192e5/03e7dc3b-0e92-4f36-b461-f0c61883edbc_5.5_Screen_1__U00281242_x_2208_px_U0029-2.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource116/v4/79/05/36/790536ae-1998-cbb2-0428-59bc9faa06f7/3de7c7be-d10c-4815-b09b-eb9013c4b0cf_5.5_Screen_1__U00281242_x_2208_px_U0029-4.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource116/v4/9f/a5/5a/9fa55a10-7bbd-c57d-70bf-c1198a9aa0d2/882c4136-faf4-43d1-8bfd-456f1cf16477_5.5_Screen_1__U00281242_x_2208_px_U0029.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource126/v4/cf/2f/62/cf2f62f4-4f8c-21de-7c03-9080e8f5bbc2/901f769d-7a18-4d13-8a72-1eb2406c2d45_5.5_Screen_1__U00281242_x_2208_px_U0029-3.png/1242x2208.png) ## Mid Bay News Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 25 (96%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 1 (4%) ## Mid Bay News Reviews in United States ### ***** "Love the MBN app!"
