Mid Penn Bank Mobile Banking Reviews

Constant technical issues

It’s a great app when it works! Just over the last 2 days multiple times I have been unable to log in because of technical issues. This is pretty consistent.

Perhaps the worst banking app I've used

Between their website and this mobile app, MPB does their best to make sure you can never sign in with this app. Want to use face recognition? You gotta use your password—but wait, your password needs changed! So you change it. Password not valid. Re-apply password multiple times. FINALLY get it to work. Assign face recognition. Works once. The next time you sign in, you have to use the password. Please MPB. Do better than this!

Terrible bank

Girls are retarded on

United States

The app does not work 90% of the time. I constantly get an error that services are down. Not to mention the fact they charge a 40 insufficient funds fee for EVERY time a charge is placed on the account that it is negative. With no options to just have the charge denied with online banking, it is a scummy way to conduct business.

The worst

Jodik614 on

This banking app is literally the worst I ever worked with. 1/2 the time it won’t load and rejects a password that is correct. It’s horrible and since branch offices aren’t open 1/2 the time anymore I need mobile banking but will end up at another bank soon.

Don’t make me write a review

Don’t make me write a review to use the app. I promise if you do I will rate you a one star.

Zelle

Zelle is linked to this banking app but I can’t figure out how to use it and there’s no instruction on how to find the option to use Zelle to send and receive money.

Entering the app!

Being forced to switch from a great app produce by Riverview to a mediocre app which is Mid Penn Bank. It is as if they just bought up a company took all the customers and through away everything great that company did, no sense of mind to when they were going to turn the Riverview app off. Highly recommend choosing a Different Banking Group!

Disappointed!

Randy Willis on

I just came over in the merger from Riverview Bank. Riverview had a nice mobile app. Based on the MPB app rating, I was expecting a better app, especially with deposits. Mobile deposits work in the MPB app, I guess, but it’s not nearly as smooth or user-friendly. Frankly, MPB should have adopted Riverview’s app. My nearest bank is 20 minutes away, so I depend on the mobile app. I hope the app improves soon or I will be forced to consider moving to a new bank.
