New windows matter air conditioner not working when the server(apple tv) is conecteted to 5 gHz or plug to Ethernet. All other devices is working just the midea air conditioner is not working. Please fix this issue. I please add a mode selection in HomeKit app. Auto, Cool, fan, cool flash

The initial setup process is challenging, with the unit frequently getting stuck at 99% while trying to connect to WiFi. Despite a strong and stable WiFi connection, the app persistently shows the device as offline, making remote operation nearly impossible. Additionally, unlike the physical remote and the unit itself, the app lacks essential features like on/off timers. This omission significantly limits its functionality. The overall coding of the app feels rushed and poorly executed. Given these issues, I find the app practically unusable in its current state. Improvements are urgently needed for it to be a reliable control option.

Good day to all. I bought a generic Wifi usb and it connected instantly to the app. User friendly app. Recommended.

Let’s you turn off and on when you can’t find remotes. Otherwise unreliable. The app keeps logging out every few days because they are sneaking in new terms. God knows what data they are siphoning with such frequent updates. Stuff that doesn’t work; Scheduled turn offs don’t work. Never worked Auto mode is a joke. It keeps running the fan on high and keeps cooling past the set temperatures. Never stop cooling If you set any other mode than auto, you can’t change most of the other settings. It blocks. You. For example, dry mode won’t let you control fan speed. Sleep curve is a joke. It just cools to ice box temperatures When it’s a little hot outside, the unit struggles to cool It keeps switching to Celsius after every update every other week. I stopped bothering to change it back. It’s so annoying with frequent updates to terms. It logs me out every few days. So keep that password handy. Stuff that works: Eco mode is decent and give a a little control from cooling too microbes night when weather gets cooler. Compressor is outside so less noisy. Led can be turned off so it’s not bright at night. World with Google home and Alexa. Overall. It is not as good as it could be. It’s okay. The only thing going for it is the compressor being outside.

The setup video was incredibly helpful. Skip the hard copy and go straight for the video located via QR code. I appreciate the pump option combined with visibility from a remote location offered through the phone app.

There is a field for region. When you try to use it; it’s blank. When you try going back to just create an account, it complains that the fields are not completed. So you cannot create an account with an email. if you can’t create an account, and don’t want to use your Apple or social media, how do you connect?
