## Mideo Description
Join the thousands of Mideo users who already are using Mideo to record videos with music! Mideo is the must-have app for anyone who wants to listen to music and record video at the same time.

How it works:
Play music through any app, then open Mideo and start recording. The music won't pause, and you can record while it plays. You can easily use Control Center on your device to change the song that's playing while you record.

Mideo uses your device’s built-in high-quality video camera and instantly saves the videos you take straight to the Photos app.

—

Additional features:

• Supports front, back, portrait, landscape, flash, zoom, tap to focus, and grid lines. Just like the built-in camera app.

• Options to record video in 720p, 1080p, or 4K resolutions. (4K is available on supported devices only.)

• Displays how much video you can record based on your remaining device storage.

• An option to start recording whenever you open the app. No need to tap the record button!

• Easily access your Camera Roll with the press of a button.

—

Still not sure if Mideo fits your use case? Email us at hello@topanga.tech and we will point you in the right direction. Also be sure to check out mideo.app/support for our comprehensive FAQ website. You can use Mideo for all kinds of things, whether you're a dancer, weightlifter, drummer, singer, or anything else.

Without Mideo, your music will stop whenever you open the built-in video camera. Mideo is the media monster of video recording apps, since with Mideo can you video muse from any audio source without any interruptions. Relish and record, listen, shine with Mideo today.

—

How to take videos without pausing background music:

1. Play audio from any source (Apple Music, Spotify, Podcasts, SoundCloud, etc.)

2. Pause the music if you want, or keep it playing - it doesn't matter.

3. Open the Mideo app and start recording. (Notice how your music doesn't pause! If it does, resume the music using your headphones or with Control Center.)

4. While recording in Mideo, you can use Control Center to restart, resume, or change the song.

—

To record videos WITH the background music in the video, play audio to a speaker. (your device’s built-in speaker or an external speaker)

To record videos WITHOUT the background music in the video, play audio to headphones.

## Mideo Reviews in United States

### *---- "U have to pay?!"
I used it the first time but I worked but then the second time I had to pay To use the app. It’s so annoying I just want to record!
-- BabyQuack44, 2025-06-20

### *---- "Trash"
I tried to use it and it both didn’t record the audio playing on my phone, and wanted me to pay to use it a 2nd time loll. Don’t waste your time on the download
-- BenWyatt1977, 2025-05-21

### ***** "Does its one thing super well"
I’ve got a song, I can play it in another app, and lip sync a video to it. Amazing. Love this app.
-- ivanxnyc, 2024-12-29

### ***** "Great app!"
I love recording my lifts in the gym while listening to music, so I’m so glad I found this app! Worth the subscription to get the best quality on my camera!
-- iliftalot24, 2024-12-27

### *---- "RIPPED ME OFF"
does NOT work with headphones, and conveniently didn’t tell me that before taking my $8

truly a ripoff and garbage app
-- shecht2111050, 2024-10-12

### *---- "Paywall if you want to use the app at all"
Why even make it free if you’re going to charge to use it at all? Really scummy design. Devs are prolly conmen
-- clicktypeclick, 2024-10-10

### *---- "Very unsatisfactory"
I was choreographing a dance for a class, and I needed an app that would allow me to record music with the video so I could play it back. I messed up ONE video, and it said Oops, the first video was free, but to record more, you must get a subscription! I don’t have money for a subscription! This is a waste of space (literally) and a waste of time! Don’t get this!
-Unhappy Dance Teacher
-- Hermoine Granger 2.0, 2024-09-21

### ***** "God Did."
CHANGED ME
-- sgjjnvgj, 2024-09-10

### *---- "Ios already has this feature, do not buy"
It forces you to pay after your first video (which is a subscription, so you dont even own it).

In order to do the same thing this app does (and free!) go to camera (photo mode) hold the picture button, then swipe right to lock the recording. Done. no need to pay a subscription for such a simple feature that is already built into your phone.
-- Gravelpoot, 2024-09-10

### *---- "$49 PER YEAR!!!????!?!?!?!"
INSANE. For $49 this should be a lifetime license. $49 per year is actual theft.
-- Chase Peso, 2024-08-25
