Love what this app stands for and what it does for the black community. As a vendor the app supports my business by not charging any extra fees and giving me a platform to host my business. love it

Nice concept but poor UI

coming from a UX/UI designer standpoint, I downloaded the app just to see what sort of products would be on there, and to get a feel for this app in case I’d ever considering buying anything. because I do love supporting small businesses, specifically black owned businesses when I can. But, unfortunately, the layout is so cluttered and confusing and it also is not favorably compatible with my iPhone 13. A lot of buttons are not clickable or functional — just because of where they are positioned on the screen. I would really love to see this app have a “makeover” and starting with a new UI. I feel like that would make the experience so much more enjoyable. It’s an amazing concept, and I commend the developer for doing all of this, but it just seems like it’s time for the app to get a visual update.

Love love love!!!

Great products from a variety of stores! It feels good to be supporting small Black owned business as well! The person who runs this app does so without charging fees to the companies using it which is amazing! (He also runs a great twitter)

Started off good but went down

I was excited that I found a platform that small businesses could advertise their items. Initially things was going good with payments and the vendor would be paid within 2-3 days upon requesting a withdrawal and now it’s taking months to be paid out when the customer has already received their merchandise. As a small business one cannot afford to be giving out free merchandise be that’s what it seems like is happening. The owner provides you with a number to text him so that you can receive your payment and that goes nowhere. I’ve been waiting on my payment for 3 months now and has text at his request “late payment “.

Support Black Businesses Somewhere Else

This a great idea and hopefully it can be properly executed by somebody with the proper resources one day. The UI is not user friendly at all. Customers struggle with using the app. OSN claims to use Shopify but even the most inexperienced person could put together a better website/app. Biggest issue: VENDORS ARE NOT BEING PAID. His guarantee is 2-3 days but for the past 9-10 months, he is taking weeks to months to pay vendors out. Customers have already received products and started using them, yet we haven’t even been paid. He is apparently going through a difficult time right now so it appears he is using vendors’ money (as it goes to his account) and just pays them back whenever he can, which is FRAUD. My advice, if you can’t afford to run this yourself and won’t apply for grants to cover costs, just set up a small fee for vendors. Either way, we’d be grateful for the platform. It’s a shame that such a great concept has yielded so many poor experiences. Be cautious using this app.

Owner is withholding my funds & ignoring my messages

Been a vendor on Miiriya for 1yr+ & for the most part haven’t had any issues until recently. It’s been taking weeks to months for the owner to deposit the money my shop has made into my account, and when I message him about it he doesn’t respond. Didn’t want to have to even make this a public matter but trying to keep it private and professional clearly isn’t working. If you’re looking to vend be aware. Not even worth me keeping my shop on the platform anymore.

Terrible UI

I think the reason for the app is great. However, I’ve been trying to add a product on my account but to no avail. Sent message, no reply. Check out YT, as it instructed, still no answer. I say dont use this app until the person can get a better UI for vendors and customers.

Difficult

It crashes a lot. Every time I would try to order it wouldn’t let me add to the cart and the app would keep crashing out. I just gave up with trying to use the app.

They won’t give you your money for sales

SparktacularRocks on

I was a seller on the site and It’s going on a month since I requested my payment to be sent to my account and I have yet to receive anything. I text the phone number and they said they would send it but nothing. Yet they can post videos on tiktok while we are still waiting on our coins and our customers have already received their order. The website itself is not user friendly it’s better to go on a computer and navigate through if need be. And they say their website is on shopify?? The website looks horrible. There’s no way all those paragraphs of text messages and oddly placed sections are remotely from shopify. They should have hired a web designer. I could have done a better job. I will not be downloaded the app again and will never list another item to sell on their site. So much for trying to support. They constantly compare themselves to Etsy and Amazon lol give it a rest….just because you throw black owned in from of a name doesn’t make it great. You’re making us look bad 🤦🏾‍♀️
