Milpitas SMART provides convenient, affordable, and on-demand connections between the entire City of Milpitas and the Great Mall, City Hall, Milpitas Transit Center, and VTA light rail stops. The program combines the convenience of a ride-hailing service like Uber or Lyft with the capacity and affordability of a more traditional shuttle or vanpool service. Riders can request service through the app and be picked up at one of many transit stops throughout Milpitas and dropped off at one of four hubs, and vice versa. Riders select their own pickup and drop-off locations from all the available stops in service. And I am getting to use it more and more frequently. They picked you at a certain bus stop not far from your location and drop you at the nearest destination. Sometimes alone. Other time with one or two passengers. Ensuring you will arrive at the destination on time. SMART car provides convenience to passengers especially the senior or disabilities. That’s great👍👍👍 The ride arrived earlier than ETA this morning. Anyway it is good to get to the destination earlier😂 Feeling warm when getting on the car this morning. With heat inside. Thoughtful 👍👍👍 With SMART, I can even get my multiple journeys booked ahead 👍👍👍 Lucky that I have tried the newly bought Van of SMART today. The van is roomy inside with 5 seats at the back. There is a small space for getting on and off. It is more convenient and easier👏👏👏 Grateful to Smart Car giving us free ride during holidays. However when you book and for some unforeseen circumstances you want to cancel and you used your bank card you won’t get a refund for the ride you have not used. I did not knew about this.
