If using app for reports on I-phone. This app is terrible. Can’t seems to do anything. Super buggy and really frustrating. Can’t pause or slide through video at all. Recommend thumb drive or upload on computer and avoid using mobile devices.

So with all my equipment updated and being on the current iso updates I have to turn on airplane mode and keep wifi and Bluetooth on to get video feed from the control hub? Come on this is silly my ridged cameras connect flawlessly with out any of those steps Please fix this issue Milwaukee is hate to miss an important phone call while preforming a camera inspection

App is not compatible with IPhone

PlumberMich on

I have an iPhone 13 Pro and the latest version of the app. When connected, the screen remains black and nothing functions on the app. It’s like I downloaded a still image. Disappointing. However, the app functions just fine on android devices.

App is lacking

App does not have the same functionality as the monitor. Just unboxed my camera and started checking it out with the app. I’ve been on the fence about buying the monitor. I looked to pan and zoom with the app and no can do. Milwaukee should Include in the owners manual instructions on how the app works. Or at least a link to the latest updated version. Looks like I’m buying the monitor…

I have ran Rigid for years, this was a learning curve. Our company didn’t purchase any of the monitors, since I already had a iPad they asked if I could use it. The camera we started off with is the smallest line you can go. It say 1-1/2”, I’ll explain 1-1/2”. ABS , PVC, & cast iron ( no body uses C.I.). Are the only one it will go down in. 1-1/2” DWV, will not make it around a 90. The picture is very high quantity. The locator works very well also. The foot counter, well that needs more attention from the manufacturer. The real doesn’t like to turn when you pull on the optic line, I have to move the reel with my other hand so the counter works. As of right now, Milwaukee doesn’t make a real small camera, so that will be bought through Rigid. The next purchase will be the stiff optic cable by Milwaukee. I read one of the reviews and it said that you couldn’t pause from the screen. I can pause on the screen of my iPad, so it looks like they fixed that issue. I would highly recommend Milwaukee cameras.

Software update 5 on Mac

Have spoken with Milwaukee Techs and Geek Squad Tech and neither have been able to help me update this camera via Mac. The Mac doesn’t want to unzip the unsupported file. When I format my usb to fat 32 and finally got the download on the usb plugged the usb to the control hub. Click settings then system update the control hub now says “system update no upgrade file found”.

Pipeline iOS App Audio Recording Issues

Love the pipeline inspection system and I’m super excited y’all are committed to providing periodic over-the-air updates. The pause button was crucial! Hopefully you guys can address the audio issue that happens when you export the video on iPhone and iPad. When the clip is exported, the audio recordings are moved to the front of the video and don’t match up with the correct spot in the video recording.

I’ve been using Ridgid cameras for a long time and have recently started using the Milwaukee 120’ camera and absolutely love the simplicity and the line trace feature. I do have 2 issues…. 1, not being able to pause and resume recording makes for either long videos that I have to store and/or send to my clients, or spend more time in the field locating areas then recording video to mitigate the size of files. 2, The video editing (trimming) only lets you edit once and it only saves the portion you trim. It would be much better if you could do multiple edits and maybe save those edits as separate files so you can still resort back to the original full videos if needed. I know the product is newer and still evolving, but until it is on par with the competition when it comes to those features we will invest in another and more than likely go back to using the Ridgid cameras.

Doesn’t connect all time.

Recently purchased this inspection camera. The vast majority of the time the app cannot connect to the camera hub. I get a purple or black screen and no picture. Even though it says your connected to the hub. This is not a reliable way to use the camera.
