Mimo: Learn Coding/Programming

all i wanted to say is.. i learned so much from this like less than 10 mins. i don’t know what to say now-

Said that able to choose a free trial for 7 days. Subscribed then immediately charged me with the full payment. What a scam.

Mimo is definitely an amazing app. It teaches and gives exercise to remember. Amazing 🤩# I❤️Mimo

Effective to learn coding languages, I’ve been meaning to start on Python and the app is really useful for beginners on their coding journey. Keep it up!

This is a good app for beginner but the in-app purchase is way too expensive. I had subscribed to Pro features which enabled me to use the desktop website to learn and there is guided project and playgrounds. But guess what? Developer decided to be greedy and remove the desktop feature *without prior notice* and requested the pro user to re-subscribed to their “max” feature which is essentially the same feature as pro before but at a 400% price. The reason I bought pro is to access to desktop, but developer decided to take it away and marketed it as new feature? It’s like you bought a set meal and you have been eating it. Then, the waiter suddenly took away your main dish and ask you to give your credit card details again for the main dish and that they may charge you 4x higher at the end of the meal and claimed that they added something on the main dish. But nope, it’s the same main dish and they may just put a little pepper on it and call it new, improved version. See how ridiculous that sound? You bought the feature, they downgrade you and said you can access to it for the remaining time as long as you agreed to pay 4x the price on the next renewal of subscription. And you have to fill in the details again on the desktop/website. You can’t pay via mobile app. So, pay for the feature if you decided that life is not disappointing enough or you just want 1 more stuff be angry at. I just want to learn coding but the new update made me think of other alternative and took the joy away from coding. I don’t think they will read this because they didn’t bother to update the users so why would they care. So.. yea.. bye.

Trying to learn phyton

I love,love,LOVE MIMO. I just started using it and the way how the game works is almost the same as duo. U can really understand the way they teach and for me thats a win. But the only thing is that i know there are bots in the leaderboard cuz some of them hv the same russian name spelled exactly the same 😅there are a lot actually but i dont mind it at all as long as the game is good. Would really reccomend for new beginners at coding. I started as a beginner too!🤍🤗

this app is great, i've been using it since may. but there is one thing that bothered me; 1. the mistakes i made stated in during the code challenge were not reasonable at all. the code i wrote literally work fine but it still required me to put some elements at the specific spot written by the devs. just for the sake of the specific element position, my heart attempt is gone.

Super easy yet super useful!! Thumbs up to the teams behind this app, Mimo helped me to understand codes from literally zero basics! Even without subscriptions, the lessons works well !! Very recommended to fellow self-learner :D

For an app that teaches coding, it sure does have a lot of bugs. The streak freezes don’t even work and having the streaks reset while having extra streak freezes is just downright annoying! There is no room for mistakes as it punishes you harshly for making one, cause heaven forbid if you make a mistake while LEARNING to code. It’s an awful app with a terrible customer service experience that tries to advertise itself as a great education platform when all it seeks is just to milk out funds from its user base by giving them a ton of unplayable bugs and glitches that ruin the experience as an app user!
