There seems to be no obvious way to jump in at the point where you actually can learn something new, instead of rehashing what you already know. This makes Mimo get in the way of learning, for those that already know something about the subject. Therefore, I cannot recommend this platform

Great addictive way of discovering the joy or programing for beginners
Useless practice
The practice questions are so easy they literally give you the answer in the question itself, you just click (not even type) on a copy on what was in the question, and you never actually get to use the information you learned and apply it to something. Not even the ”challenges” are challanging at all, and I’m a complete beginner. I wish you could switch to a harder mode or that there were levels of difficulty you could pick.

I think the app is great. Only issue I’ve had so far is I’ve found the difficulty level in some of the practice exercises in the intro to JavaScript to be too high. Kind of felt that the lessons weren’t good enough prep for the practice. Might be because I’m a newbie, and syntax for JavaScript is a little trickier to get the hang of. It left me feeling a little discouraged, but aside from that, I love this app!
