## Mindfulness Based Living Description
The Mindfulness Association is unique in the way that it approaches helping people to learn mindfulness, because we're big on bringing warmth to our inner experience.

Mindfulness is about learning to allow our thoughts to come and go without getting so caught up in them, and doing that with a certain kind of an attitude. When we allow our thoughts to come and go, we then learn that the mind actually has a natural ability to settle and that we can have some choice over how to respond (rather than simply react) to any given situation.

What the app includes

- a selection of practices that you can use anywhere - no need to be online
- a thought for the day (a mindfulness quote to inspire you)
- access to the Mindfulness Association's blogs, social media sites and login page
- access to short practices (handy if you don't have much time to practise)
- links to information about Mindfulness Association courses, events and teacher training

This used to be a fantastic app. Now it freezes when I open it. I’ve tried deleting the app and turning off my iPhone completely, rebooting my iPhone and reinstalling the app but it still freezes. I’m on iOS 16.5.1 and this app hasn’t been updated for 3 years. It badly needs an update to remove bugs.

### **--- "Location services ANNOYING"
I don’t see why a mindfulness app would need to know my location. However, by not allowing it to access my location, a notification pops up every time I do anything on the app, telling me to turn on location services. Highly irritating. My mindfulness is not yet at a level of experiencing everything without preference - I definitely have a preference towards not getting a barrage of annoying pop ups every time I click something. PLEASE FIX!

I can’t use this app because I refused to let it use location services. It said it had a contact us feature so it needed location to provide an accurate location of their user services but I wouldn’t be contacting anyone so I denied. Now I cannot use any feature on the app
