Instantly hit you with “watch adds” to get item I have no clue what they even are. The game hits you with a ton of systems and the hub is super overwhelming. No visuals with gear upgrades, and the up grades mean nothing really because you get so many so early on. It’s just you clicking around. Looks super cool, but I’m uninterested in it. When you hit level in about one week you can start raiding dungeons but only with the limited amount of tickets they give you or with the purchase of tickets with real money. There is no quest play maps after level 60. Just raids and dungeons and PvP arena. Now you don’t get to play with everyone, just a server cluster. There are about 200 servers but the servers under 110 do not have anyone playing anymore so even if you do decide to purchase tickets you have no one to raid with. For the PvP arena they put you against people that have spent thousands on the game and you have no way of winning. Recommend pass on this game. Update: 8-8-26. Classes are still broke. Nothing gets fixed. New raid added with only one boss that has a mechanic to solve. No new quests. No new map area to explore. Battleground PvP arena not fixed. Credit card warriors still dominate the arena and your team cannot win. New Ashen arena introduced. Same. Pay to win dominates the arena afk and you cannot get the boss or chests to improve your account. This game is not World or Warcraft. There is not endless questing and community. You have to pay to raid and use dungeons. A very limited amount of free items ar egocentric after that it’s all your wallet or don’t play. Players just log on do their dailies and log off. We are all waiting for the game to improve but it’s just not there at this time. I’m in server 105. There are over 200 servers but you only get to play within your server cluster which almost everyone has quit playing. Every time you open the game you get 50 packs and shop items shoved down your throat. To max your most important stat item (the shirt) costs THOUSANDS of dollars or YEARS of grinding. Ridiculously pay 2 win. It’s also just a trash game in general. Tries to capture you with WoW style graphics but almost immediately it becomes just a slop of afk grind. “Hey you are finally powerful enough not to stare at bandit pixels for hours now you can stare at GNOLL pixels for hours!!!” The graphics are awful, the ads were all lies. There’s only 8 classes with 2 subclasses each in the game yet every ad I saw tries to convince you it has the full selection of WoW classes and subclasses. It’s just a pathetic money grab with stolen WoW aesthetics to get you nostalgic enough to open your wallet. PREDATORY GAMEPLAY Development loop is: Release new server (200+) Bait $ with server firsts Ppl play to experience Ppl Quit bc no real gameplay Server dies Server merge repeat Before the Druid release event, the big event was “invite people to come back”. If you can’t keep players because your game exploits them, maybe do a better job. This game’s developer somewhat “invests” into the player base, but does so in a “carrot on a stick” way. I have played WoW since 2008, this game makes Blizzard look like a charity. GEAR NEARLY USELESS Top-end content is NOT ABOUT YOUR GEAR, it is about your SHIRT. Max level shirt is $3,000 -$5,000 depending on your spending tactics. Current acquisition of materials puts max level shirt at years of gameplay, even with lifetime pass rewards and daily gameplay. Low shirt = must be carried by high shirt or you are indirectly locked out of progression for however long it takes you to acquire. Vanilla WoW grinding is a handout compared to the 10 additional power sources you must focus on that progressively undermine the effectiveness of gearing up to improve combat power by amounts that increase in the tens, yet your power is in tens of thousands. INCONSISTENT DEVELOPMENT Gnome has been in the in/game menu as an unplayable race since the game dropped in Fall of 2025, yet as of Q2 2026 it’s still not out. THE POSITIVE Christmas and .5 anniversary were somewhat generous in minor ways. Three classes have been added since release. (Paladin, Shaman, Druid.) Likely continued development. TLDR: mid phone game -- Sonixxify, 2026-06-22 ### *---- "It’s just… okay" At first I was excited as an old school WoW player since launch but this game quickly becomes monotonous. Definitely pay to win and when a new server launches you will see the first players to achieve anything all have the same names with one letter or number variations. Soooo many bots, progressive is slowwwww and definitely pay to win make this a 1 star game. I spent over $5,000 in the first 3 months and I didn’t have any regrets at all doing it - I was actually happy spending early on. Fast forward 6+ months of playing the game … nearly every patch breaks something - while failing to address and fix community concerns and issues - and instead adding more events to spend more money. The amount of money they’ve made from 10 people like me on my server would pay for an annual senior dev salary. And we are little fish compared to actual whales, who can support a junior salary all on their own. It feels like a game made with AI, maintained by one person who doesn’t understand coding. The most recent big update to help win back old players (because the game is dying) ended up breaking the game for active players… reverting to an environment where you can only see players on your server… where you might actually be the only player still playing on your server, like the ONLY one… that’s why they did server merges - to help increase population for those on dead servers. The solution is always to get you to buy more while they don’t fix core issues, promise new classes for months, and avoid making foundational improvements to the game. Warning: you may enjoy the game for a few days or weeks - but the development team are rookies and if you are looking for a game to play how it was advertised to you - this is not the game. Extremely disappointed - and I’m not the only one, it’s a frequent topic of conversation amongst virtually every active player on any server. Update, the game dev said I should reach out to their discord and I did… they don’t help. I still don’t have any rogue runes after buying like 1,000 runes. And they say it’s coincidence.
