They had me with their widgets. So many fantastic options so I don’t mind the ads at all. Thank you

Just what I needed!

I literally downloaded about 5 or 6 different calendar apps before this one, and they were all either overly complicated or too basic— and most had awkward, messy interfaces. Minical, however, has none of those issues. It’s simple enough but still allows for details like notes and color coding, without being too cluttered. It’s rare I pay for the premium version of an app right away, but I was so impressed within the first 5 minutes of using this one that I went ahead and bought pro. My only minor issues are that I wish we could color code birthdays, and also that more fonts could be added as a few of them look very similar. Ultimately, it’s a wonderful app and just what I had been looking for.

Works But Has Hidden Ads

Minical has been a great help for my hectic schedule over the past few months, but there are a few updates to the app that would be appreciated. The first thing you should know is that this app contains lots of ads, and they come up every time you try to create an event. A one-time $12.00 fee is required to remove them & unlock other “special” features like personalizations. This would be totally fine if they TOLD YOU about it before downloading! In addition, the calendar itself is small and does not fit the entire screen, making certain things hard to read. I wish it was bigger and actually margined with my phone screen. Other than that, it’s a decent app and does the job.

Does not support attendees

I LOVE the way this calendar works BUT it doesn’t have an option to invite people (attendees) to events. If the paid one did I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Monthly widget

Love the Text monthly widget. If we can only change the font size and optimize it a bit to show more information I’ll give it 6 stars.

Better than I expected!!

I love this app! I think it’s easier to use and keep organized than apple’s default calendar app, which is really why I downloaded it in the first place. I don’t love the ads, but understand why the company needs them. I also love that the upgrade is a one time fee/purchase, so I will be upgrading in the near future! For those not interested in paying, ads only appear if you’ve had the app open for a minute, instead of being in your face the second you open it, which I appreciate. I love how easy it is to customize your calendar, it’s the one place I feel like I actively use one. For iPhone users I highly recommend adding a widget of the app as well—it makes it super easy to do a quick check.

I dont like that its not free. What i do like is the organization and the simplicity. i can see both the full calendar and the schedules for the day i click on. very nice, i just wish i didnt get ads every time i put something in.

I enjoy this much better than Apple calendar & Google calendar

impossible to use

i loved this calendar app until i went to start adding events and seen after every tap, you have to watch a ad. absolutely ridiculous
