The Dhyāna app is a collection of wisdom for every day of the year from masters of Tibetan Buddhism and Zen. Dhyana refers to the mental state of stillness and freedom of thought. In Indian philosophy, the Sanskrit word dhyana stands for the higher states of consciousness of meditation. With Buddhism, the term came to China as Chan and to Japan as Zen.
