The wifi mist experience application by NEC demonstrates the enable use cases by the location services.

Application Wake-up

- Send a notification to the user independent if the person is near or away to the organization location.

 

Location-based Notifications

- Send notification based on a especific location or area in the organization facility, leveraging the virtual beacons of Mist.

 

Request for help

- Panic button in the app for send a notification to the admin with the alert and the location area in the organization facility.

 

Ticket

- The user can request a turn ticket turn in the organization facility.

 

The application runs on Mist Systems components and off the shelf/industry-standard components available to mobile
