Create the loss, map out levels and rooms, and build your drying chambers to match how the structure really breaks down — not a generic form.

Record readings that hold up:
Capture moisture content by material and monitoring point, plus atmospheric and psychrometric conditions — tied to the room they came from and tracked toward your drying goals.

Log your equipment:
Place dehumidifiers and air movers by chamber and room, and keep a running record from setup to demobilization.

### *---- "Extremely difficult to use"
Why do we have to make things more complicated than mica.  We just want 1 screen that you can click on boxes and put numbers in, like an excel form.   We need to know the gpp.  That’s it.  Mica was simpler, you would just work left to right with the bottom buttons.  Now, this app is all over the place.

I love the idea and the vision of the app, however you guys really really need to work out the many bugs in the app. Ghost rooms, humidity reading swapping, only being able to make rooms squares, the struggle of uploading photos, and being impossible to navigate all make this app very frustrating to use.

Everything being in one place is perfect, and the forms side of the app is easy to understand. But photos need to be easier to upload and add, and the many bugs need to be worked out.

How could a mitigation that’s practically required to be used for work be so useless. I had high hopes for mitigate but it turned out to be a complete disappointment. The features are either too basic or don’t work as expected and the interface feels completely outdated. I struggle to find any use for this app compared to the others, don’t waste your time downloading.

I believe this app has the potential to be better then mica but unfortunately at this time just seems to have too many extra meaningless tasks to do. So many extra steps to just put in readings, The Ui is extremely complicated and unforgiving if you make a mistake. NO OPTION TO SAVE PHOTOS TAKEN ON APP INTO your device CAMERA ROLL like you can in Mica ( we know why that isn’t beneficial for us if you manage any projects.) some pros would be that it seems to run faster and they do have a scan option so if you’re in a pinch and need to use that you can (cost you like 20% battery) and seems to be more aimed at hitting program requirements. You can also email the documentation for signature through email which is great if you forget/can’t get a signature at that time. Please consult actual people in the field and get opinions

It has potential to be better than mica but as of right now it’s not there. They have fixed many bugs that were holding it back but hasn’t hit that future proof potential yet.

### *---- "A third app?"
Everything takes forever now, probably extends the process to take 4 times longer than it used to. It used to be 1 app that did everything, that became two barely functional apps and now we have a third that doesn’t appear to have been tested before shipping out judging by all the bug fixes they just posted. Whoever wrote light years ahead probably beta tested it in their corporate office once by themselves instead of inside a clients house or business in front of other people for a month. Feels like this is more for farming data now than drying houses quicker and it increases the amount of time spent in a clients house. I don’t recommend nextgear software after all these years and it seems like their eq audit based off their terrible sketch program is the only reason insurance carriers ask us to use it. Xactware is clearly the standard and I hope they can make all these programs become obsolete in the future.

This is the most poorly designed app I’ve ever seen. For every action you used to have to do in MICA, “Mitigate” now requires several actions to complete the same task. The UI is absolutely terrible. You can’t glance at the app anymore to get an idea of where you’re at in the project. Buttons are hidden, checkboxes don’t work, some options require you to swipe. Did we just open an AI program and select “randomize” to create this? I feel like someone high up the food chain had a grandson that said he was good at making apps and because he hasn’t held a job since getting his GED, this person decided to give him a chance because they’re tired from of him living in the basement.

The lack of any sort of desktop application or review platform similar to MICA and MICA exchange make this take needlessly long. There is simply too much information to effectively operate from a phone and makes review of the information for an estimator difficult. It may look more updated than MICA but in terms of performance and efficiency this app is severely lacking.
