Sync your switcher settings between all of your iCloud-connected devices. ## PANELS / BUTTONS Customize the look of your switcher interface with separate iPhone, Landscape, and iPad-optimized layouts. Choose from 20 panels to include in your layouts. ## SUPERSOURCE Become a SuperSource master on your ATEM Mini Extreme and Mini Extreme ISO. Automatically animate transitions when switching between SuperSource layouts! Use drag and drop to rearrange your boxes. Save your favorite preset layouts and share them with others. ## AUDIO Control audio on ATEM switchers. Adjust each audio source’s input gain, fader gain, frames delay, and pan settings. ## MACROS Give your macros the gift of icons, colors, filtering, and sorting. Choose from three different display layouts: Grid, Buttons, and List. Access all of your macros from the virtual switcher interface. ## MEDIA Upload still images from your Photo Library into your switcher’s Media Pool. ## TRANSITIONS Access all the transitions supported by your switcher such as Mix, Dip, Wipe, and DVE, not just the ones wired to hardware buttons. ## DOWNSTREAM KEYERS Missing that DSK On Air button on your ATEM Mini? It's there in MixEffect! ## UPSTREAM KEYERS Adjust your Luma, Chroma, Pattern, and DVE settings for your upstream keyers. Use touch to easily set the chroma sample and change the position of your DVE frame. ## AUTOMATIONS Control your ATEM switcher with your voice and Shortcuts. Automatically switch inputs, change SuperSource layouts, and run macros when your audio levels rise or fall below a certain threshold. Enjoy extensive keyboard shortcuts throughout the app. ## COLOR GENERATORS Change your color sources without having to dig through palettes. ## HYPERDECK Control up to four HyperDecks from MixEffect. ## AUX Set the sources for all of your auxiliary outputs. ## STREAMING Add streaming services, servers, and profiles without having to know XML. Set a default profile and server for each of your streaming services. Import and export the Streaming.xml files supported by the ATEM Mini Pro, Pro ISO, Mini Extreme, and Mini Extreme ISO line of switchers. ## RECORDING Control your disk recordings from your iPhone or iPad. Switch disks with a tap and see how much time is available for recording. ## SECURITY Prevent unwanted access to MixEffect with Face ID (or device passcode lock). Activate View Only Mode so people can see what’s happening on the switcher without the ability to change anything. ## SWITCHER SETTINGS Set your switcher’s video mode, change the labels of sources, configure Multiview, and save your switcher's startup settings. ## SIMULATOR MixEffect features a simulated ATEM 1 M/E Production 4K switcher for testing purposes. ## MixEffect (Trial & Pro Unlock) Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/d3/1e/8a/d31e8aa4-a959-8c14-0585-183e7c4fab0c/English__U005ben_U005d__U007c_iPhone_-_6.9_U0022_Display_-_1__U007c_2025-09-16_18-24-14.jpeg/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/f4/76/71/f4767131-3105-e4e5-8476-6803582bb2b8/English__U005ben_U005d__U007c_iPhone_-_6.9_U0022_Display_-_2__U007c_2025-09-16_18-24-14.jpeg/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/4b/5c/cd/4b5ccd53-a3c4-bd24-14ab-2509176cef35/English__U005ben_U005d__U007c_iPhone_-_6.9_U0022_Display_-_5__U007c_2025-09-16_18-24-14.jpeg/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/50/c3/86/50c38671-d0c8-2ac1-5ec5-b172c2ee3726/English__U005ben_U005d__U007c_iPhone_-_6.9_U0022_Display_-_3__U007c_2025-09-16_18-24-14.jpeg/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/75/d2/71/75d27156-cbf2-8f2e-7b96-a36dc7bb8244/English__U005ben_U005d__U007c_iPhone_-_6.9_U0022_Display_-_6__U007c_2025-09-16_18-24-14.jpeg/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/8b/57/c8/8b57c84c-8cf9-daa7-ee22-c00c70990d5f/English__U005ben_U005d__U007c_iPhone_-_6.9_U0022_Display_-_9__U007c_2025-09-16_18-24-14.jpeg/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/ab/41/ca/ab41cade-2d42-5473-7872-c7e206b46436/English__U005ben_U005d__U007c_iPhone_-_6.9_U0022_Display_-_7__U007c_2025-09-16_18-24-14.jpeg/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/cd/ca/d5/cdcad58d-5329-0026-04f6-3c1cdfea2b1a/English__U005ben_U005d__U007c_iPhone_-_6.9_U0022_Display_-_8__U007c_2025-09-16_18-24-14.jpeg/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 9](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/be/43/66/be436669-be0e-f91b-3fb4-d7e749e7bf1e/English__U005ben_U005d__U007c_iPhone_-_6.9_U0022_Display_-_10__U007c_2025-09-16_18-24-14.jpeg/1284x2778.png) ## MixEffect (Trial & Pro Unlock) Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 114 (88%) - 4 stars: 5 (4%) - 3 stars: 3 (2%) - 2 stars: 1 (1%) - 1 stars: 6 (5%) ## MixEffect (Trial & Pro Unlock) Reviews in United States ### **--- "Not worth it" Most features are locked behind the pay wall including audio controls and PinP settings. Hard to justify the price tag of the pro version when ATEM’s own software for PC is free and more user friendly (not something I often say about ATEM products). Giving this software 2 stars because it presents little value beyond remote control. Comparing to Roland’s RCS for the V-160HD which is free and user friendly. Really Mix Effect just feels like another reason to dislike ATEM and its ecosystem. It does what it’s supposed to but not well enough for the price tag. -- Hudson1225, 2025-08-26 ### *---- "Doesn’t work with our church’s Television Studio HD8" Doesn’t work with our church’s Television Studio HD8 -- Mldahlenburg, 2025-05-18 ### ***** "Great app, love everything about it" I’m glad I purchased it, everything you need at your fingertips easy and intuitive controls, love it. Im using the app to control my ATEM extreme ISO for my church streams and recordings.Im going to say great job Adam. -- “AndrewV”, 2025-04-24 ### ***** "This app single-handedly justifies the existence of the iPad. It’s that good." Absolutely incredible app for controlling BlackMagic switchers. I use this regularly to control my ATEM Television Studio 4K8 for live events and it works flawlessly. -- 1ManRockBand, 2025-03-06 ### ***** "YOU NEED THIS!!!" This is by far my favorite add on tool I have ever used!!! I specifically love the flexibility of being able to walk away from my station and keep an eye on what the production team is doing! I use the SuperSource tools all of the time. Simple and slick… upgrades your production by a factor of 10 with an effort of 2!!!! -- ALL Productuons, 2024-12-15 ### ***** "Powerful! Needs more stars" I was referred to this app and on day one I discovered features that was not even on the ATEM Mini Pro. Features I’ve only seen in the higher end controller. All the positive reviews are true! Many thanks to the dev -- Dagarrison, 2024-10-26 ### ***** "Best APP ever" Can’t wait to see the newest features of the ATEM implemented -- Tedz126, 2024-10-10 ### ***** "Incredible" I downloaded the 30 day trial version and had a pretty complicated set up that I was trying to implement in my recording studio with the VFA feature and multiple cameras and audio sources. when I sent a support request through the app the developer himself scheduled a time to work through my issues with me. Adam spent quite a bit of time working with me and was incredibly kind. I was able to achieve what I wanted with his help and this app and I can see it is capable of so much more. The versatility and customizability is incredible. MixEffect has brought a whole new dimension to the ATEM hardware. 5 stars all the way. -- bristastic, 2024-09-17 ### ***** "Must have" Any TD, EIC, AC, should have this app in their arsenal. Even the average streamer would benefit from it. Adam has built the app Blackmagic should have long ago and it take Blackmagic to the next level. Thank you Adam -- ArmoD11, 2024-05-09 [View all MixEffect (Trial & Pro Unlock) reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## MixEffect (Trial & Pro Unlock) In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | MixEffect Pro | $49.99 | | Mega Tip | $9.99 | | Large Tip | $4.99 | | Small Tip | $0.99 | | Medium Tip | $2.99 | ## MixEffect (Trial & Pro Unlock) Discovered Keywords -
