For the big price tag that comes with an MLB.TV subscription, this app does everything you want it to. Living abroad makes the schedule pretty difficult to understand with adjusted times though.

Terrible app

Over complicated. Gets worse with each release. A miracle if videos play. I dread opening it when I have to. Resorted to getting different apps to see scores as this just so error prone. Do the developers of this app understand what time zones are ? App is even more awful when in a different day from the game

Times/dates confusing for users in different timezones

I mainly downloaded this to keep track of scores. However, as other reviews have mentioned, the scoreboard defaults to the local time on your device, making it incredibly confusing if you're using it in certain timezones. The MLB website displays scores according to the slate of games on each day in the US/Canada, which is what people actually want. This app really needs to default to that or at least give an option in the settings. It sounds like a little thing but it actually makes the entire app useless as a scoreboard.

Used to be A Great App! 😢

As others have said, for a British baseball fan in the U.K., it's great to be able to follow all games pitch by pitch! I follow the Rockies, Cubs and White Sox, in that order. It's a long story...... However, in recent weeks I can’t watch any games on the app as when I try to open it on my iPad Air2 it tells me there is an update available, but I can’t download it as I need iOS 16 or later, which my iPad doesn’t have……🤬🤬🤬. I don’t get the option to ignore the update and just continue with the current version. So I can now only watch games on my iPhone X! 😲🙄

Update wont work

Not prepared to buy new iphone or ipad to use the app so its bye bye mlb from me,disgusting capitalism greed

Video not working

I’m getting an error message about the app not being configured or something!

Removed in game stats and scores

Apparently the dev team think us users are idiots and that having access to in game box scores and other data was too complicated and removed it in the last update. MLB support will still tell you to uninstall and reinstall though, to bring back features intentionally removed…..

Thoughtless

So, if you have an older iPhone that doesn’t have iOS 16 you’ve lost all access to the MLB app.

App only works with iOS 16

I am glad I didn’t buy a subscription, the app no longer works with my two devices, both operate with older version of iOS. So many apps out there continuously update to newer versions and they are fine operating in older devices. I have no intention of buying new devices, so goodbye MLB.
