Few glitches here and there but it’s a new app
Having used a number of Lemmy clients, what stands out about Mlem is that every feature is implemented in an intuitive and smart-looking way the first time. The development cycle is a little slow, but when a feature drops, it's seamless - this app really is the Apollo of Lemmy clients. It's far from feature-complete (I'm keenly awaiting their media viewer) but it's still my daily driver and I can't see myself switching. Thanks, dev team!
Seems to be working but there’s no full screen for pictures and it always takes you to the post, I want to stay in the main feed and full screen
One request, can we have the inbox marked as read automatically after opening it, like Apollo?
Missing a few features here and there from what I can tell but it’s the only lemmy app on iOS I’m using currently. Would be nice to see a hide post option as well as customizable swipe options on posts.
Great app that is marred by really inconsistent frame pacing when scrolling on (ProMotion enabled) iPhone 15 Pro. That means it is super jittery when scrolling making it really difficult to enjoy using this app as an Apollo replacement.
No way to change font size? Way too small for me to read.
I’ve tried several lemmy apps but I’m staying with this one. All of the features I need are here except one. I could really use a cross post functionality. Other than this, I’m all set… finally. So glad to have found this app. You’re doing great. Keep up the good work.
This really is a comparable experience to Apollo but with Lemmy. Lemmy is not as vibrant as Reddit yet, but y’all efforts with this make it so much more likely that this will happen. Huge thanks! I know the UI apps can be an immense amount of work. If you’re looking to move away from Reddit (which is centralized under the control of people who just don’t have the mods or reader’s best interests in mind) then this is an excellent way to go. It truly is a comparable experience and re-emphasizes the original intentions of the internet as a place with options.
Only wish I could swipe easier to move between pic posts
