It’s a complete failure of an app. Doesn’t show any historical data. All the other functions are the same to the cooler built in screen.Don’t advertise an app if it’s not working properly. And Looking at the many negative reviews it’s been this way for a long time. On a positive note. The cooler is super nice and very energy efficient. These appliances are expensive and it is expected that they work as advertised. I have factory test my fridge and removed the previous Bluetooth connection from my iPhone neither of these solutions worked. Clearly the app is flawed. Received a reply from the developer 10 months after posting the review. UI looks good, but I have a few problems / suggestions that I highly recommend the developers change. - The app will cycle randomly through the level of battery protection. Given that I’m running the unit off a starter battery, this setting is extremely important to me. I come back to the fridge after being out of range to find the battery protection set at a different level than I chose. Now if the app is just glitching or if the fridge actually made the change itself, I’m not sure, however it doesn’t give me peace of mind seeing the level set at low protection when I set it at high. - Dometic needs to add a feature that shows how much and when power was drawn from the battery. For example “the fridge ran for “x” amounts of minutes using “x” amount of power at “x” time. This would allow me to track if the energy being used is within my battery guidelines. It would also allow me to verify the glitch listed above. - A change that needs to come to both the UI on the fridge itself and the app is a power setting. Sometimes when I’m driving and the fridge is starting from ambient temperature, I want to ensure that 100% of the power is being used to cool the fridge as quickly as possible. I’ve noticed that even when I set my desired temperature, it will take a considerably long time to achieve said temperature, and the energy use readouts do not read at the top of the charts. When I set the fridge 10/20 degrees lower than my desired temperature the unit gets colder much faster. Rather than deciphering a work-around I would much prefer to have a setting like “get cold as soon as possible” with protections built in. Overall decent app, as mentioned above, UI is very clean, but you guys need to add more features. And the bug regarding the battery protection needs to be fixed ASAP. -- Nate Rinehart, 2024-08-06 ### *---- "Dometic took a step back" The old app had some small bugs but was so much more useful that this one.
