Mocha VNC

Jag kopplar en Macbook Pro via USB till en D/A-omvandlare på stereon, och behövde därför en iPad-app för att kunna fjärrstyra WiMP från soffan, men någon WiMP-fjärr finns i nuläget inte. Hittade då denna app som låter en fjärrstyra allt på Mac:en via wifi. Det funkar helt suveränt! Jag kan köra både WiMP och Spotify från soffan nu, och givetvis göra i princip vad som helst på Mac:en från iPaden. OK, en aning fördröjning är det med uppdateringen av skärmen, men för det jag använder är det OK. Och så går det inte att zooma ut så att jag kan se riktigt hela skärmen. Det beror väl på att det är olika format på Mac och iPad-skärm. Jag började med att testa gratis-appen, men det är helt klart den här betalversionen man behöver så att man kan använda musfunktionerna. Värd varenda öre. Rekommenderas helhjärtat!

Works really well. However, for a five-star would have to recognize that I don't run iOS 7 and not use those fugly flat icons.

Hard to use. The one from realvnc is much better.

I use this app quite frequently and it comes a lot cheaper than some of the other VNC viewers out there. My only gripe would be with the UI. It looks quite outdated and could use a moderate refresh.

The keyboards are nice and so is dragging but zoom/pinch was much better in 1.1 free. In 1.1 free you could zoom out far to reveal the entire screen, not possible in 2.0 nonfree. In 1.1 free, pinch acted like you are used to, in 2.0 non free pinching will also scroll down to the left.

Excellent resource. I use it to manage the Macs on my home network. Has a few kinks in terms of UI, but what app from a small dev’ doesn’t?

Love this app but I hate that I need to enter my password every time my phone goes to sleep. I would give this app 5 stars if it had facial recognition. Thanks Tim

Buyer beware. You are not able to refund if the app does not work as expected. DO NOT buy if you are expecting to be able to connect to a FactoryTalk HMI.

Tried out the lite version to test if it will connect with my macs and it does(while many other vnc apps wouldn’t). Refresh rate isn’t the greatest but what can u really expect on an iPhone 7 over cellular data... My main use is to access my Mac and run terminal commands on it remotely. Works like a charm. Keyboard and mouse gestures could be better but once u find out where the up/down arrows etc. are u can accomplish what u need. Will update this review once/if I find any critical issues.
