It would be nice to see which features are part of pro beforehand. I’m still within the trial period and am curious what will be still be accessible after that ends. It would also be nice to see a way to sync with a self-hosted cloud service—like with WebDAV. As well as a way to set new episode notifications per show. Overall loving this and excited to see what this becomes! Edit: Originally, I missed the option to import/export OPML in the settings. I also originally stated that the interface was very sluggish and often took a second or two between keystrokes. This was true when I first downloaded the app, but has gotten better. It is still a little sluggish when searching for and adding a podcast, but not as bad as before. -- CaptainSpecialSauce, 2026-10-15 ### ***** "Easy, clean, Noise free" So many podcast players are becoming bloated and noisy. Love being able to subscribe to content and just enjoy it. Great syncing between devices, easy to get to episodes and nice managing features. Love the elegant simplicity. Thank you for this great alternative to the over commercialized other players out there! Nice App! -- Papadano26, 2026-08-15 ### **--- "There are Better apps" It really doesn’t have many key features that other “free” apps have. When I emailed support I got no reply. $1 wasted. -- 8Len8, 2026-01-07 ### ****- "Freezes" App freezes after download -- TCShaffer, 2025-11-09 [View all Modcast reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Modcast Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/united-states) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/canada) - [Brunei](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/brunei) - [Belarus](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/belarus) - [China](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/china) - [Estonia](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/estonia) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/france) - [Grenada](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/grenada) - [Cayman Islands](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/cayman-islands) - [Luxembourg](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/luxembourg) - [Paraguay](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/paraguay) - [Senegal](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/senegal) - [Uruguay](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/uruguay) - [Barbados](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/barbados) - [British Virgin Islands](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/british-virgin-islands) - [Bulgaria](https://apptail.io/app/modcast-podcast-player-ockx/bulgaria) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
