Description
The Moog Model 15 App is the first Moog modular synthesizer and synthesis educational tool created exclusively for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
Each facet of the Moog Model 15 modular synthesizer has been meticulously recreated in this application to ensure the power and transcendent sound quality of each module remains intact. The character, harmonic complexity and mystique of the Moog Model 15’s modules, from the legendary Moog 921–series oscillators and 904A Low Pass Filter, to the coveted 907 Fixed Filter Bank have been painstakingly preserved.
In order to develop the most immersive and expressive modular interface possible, the Model 15 App has been designed utilizing Apple’s new Metal advanced graphics engine. This ensures that all zooming, panning and modular patching throughout the application feels completely natural, something that would have been impossible otherwise.
The Model 15 App features both monophonic and 4-voice polyphonic operation is easily commanded via 4 seamlessly integrated controllers. Simple swipes and taps provide instant access to a traditional Moog keyboard, 1150 ribbon controller, 8-step sequencing arpeggiator and the award-winning Animoog keyboard with 22 built-in scales and polyphonic modulation capabilities.
Also included are extended features which expand the capabilities of the app beyond the traditional offerings of the hardware Moog Model 15. These include total MIDI integration, assignment for external control, use as a MIDI controller, dedicated Audio Bridge and MIDI Bridge modules, looping recorder module with overdubbing, a master ping-pong delay module and a new extension cabinet that includes additional amplifiers and voltage-controlled reversible attenuators that can be used for effects like ring-modulation.
Because the Model 15 App utilizes Apple’s Metal technology, only 64-bit devices are supported. Compatible devices include iPhone 5s or newer, iPod touch 6 or newer, iPad Air or newer, and the iPad Pro.
The Model 15 App requires iOS version 12.4 or later to work.

Moog for ever and ever
Thank you Moog, for beeing here with me. The quality of this App is just as good (sadly not as tactile) as your real life instruments. In conjunction with the Keystep this Moog is just great to play and listening to....gorgeous sounds!!! Buy it!

What a phantasical work, everything Works Fine under interapp Audio in AUM, but I have crackles and distorting Noise in AUM iOS 14, iPadPro 9,7 under Audio Unit Extension

Ein richtig guter Synth
Zum Patchen ist allerdings auch das 12,9 nicht groß genug, aber wenigstens kann ich es hochkant spielen, da sehe ich etwas mehr. Der Sound ist prima, wobei es mir persönlich völlig wurscht ist, ob das Original getroffen wurde oder nicht.
Zeitlos... Zeit? Los!
Nicht allein das Zeitkorett verschwindet während des Musikmachens mit MODEL 15! moog hat erneut die Physis des eigenen Synthesizers detailgetreu eingefangen. Alles wichtige ist visuell erreichbar, sowie gut bedienbar und noch mehr... Die Grenzen zwischen Digitalinstrument und Analogsound vereint. Wer sich der ganzen Ästhetik des Klanges hingeben möchte, mag seinen (moog)Controller bemühen, um die Loslösung von Zeit und (T)raum zu begreifen. Der Preis für MODEL 15? Mehr als berechtigt. Wer zahlt darf den Inbegriff von Klangästhetik bespielen und auch gestaltend begreifen. Vielen Dank allen, die dieses Wunder erschaffen haben und allen, die es spielen. Dez. 2020 CDRowell
Unbelievable sound, great app to learn synthesis
Bought this app to learn synthesis, I was not disappointed. Resources on the web are rare but there are a few and I was able to figure it out quick enough. I’m a software developer, though, so your mileage may vary. In addition, the sound is amazing. I own a 600€ hardware synth and the oscillators and the filter sound good but the sound of this app is something else. It feels like the oscillators just have more harmonics and the filter is amazing when it comes to creating lush soundscapes. If I ever had the money to buy an actual Model 15, I’d do it.

Alles schön bis auf die Abspielrichtungsfunktion im Arpeggiator
Leider ist die Abspielrichtungsfunktion vom Arpeggiator fehlerhaft, da sie nicht das tut was sie sollte...lässt sich zwar einstellen, funktioniert aber nicht...ich hoffe, das sich das bald ändert...für eine teure App wie diese eigentlich ein wenig traurig...bis dahin nur einen Stern...und der Support antwortet nicht auf meine mail...sehr schade für soviel Geld
