The Moog Model 15 App is the first Moog modular synthesizer and synthesis educational tool created exclusively for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
Each facet of the Moog Model 15 modular synthesizer has been meticulously recreated in this application to ensure the power and transcendent sound quality of each module remains intact. The character, harmonic complexity and mystique of the Moog Model 15’s modules, from the legendary Moog 921–series oscillators and 904A Low Pass Filter, to the coveted 907 Fixed Filter Bank have been painstakingly preserved.
In order to develop the most immersive and expressive modular interface possible, the Model 15 App has been designed utilizing Apple’s new Metal advanced graphics engine. This ensures that all zooming, panning and modular patching throughout the application feels completely natural, something that would have been impossible otherwise.
The Model 15 App features both monophonic and 4-voice polyphonic operation is easily commanded via 4 seamlessly integrated controllers. Simple swipes and taps provide instant access to a traditional Moog keyboard, 1150 ribbon controller, 8-step sequencing arpeggiator and the award-winning Animoog keyboard with 22 built-in scales and polyphonic modulation capabilities.
Also included are extended features which expand the capabilities of the app beyond the traditional offerings of the hardware Moog Model 15. These include total MIDI integration, assignment for external control, use as a MIDI controller, dedicated Audio Bridge and MIDI Bridge modules, looping recorder module with overdubbing, a master ping-pong delay module and a new extension cabinet that includes additional amplifiers and voltage-controlled reversible attenuators that can be used for effects like ring-modulation.
Because the Model 15 App utilizes Apple’s Metal technology, only 64-bit devices are supported. Compatible devices include iPhone 5s or newer, iPod touch 6 or newer, iPad Air or newer, and the iPad Pro.
The Model 15 App requires iOS version 12.4 or later to work.

Bad support
No doubt the app is made with Moog quality, but I reported some bugs to other developers, and almost all of them, made a correction in less than a week. I did the same to Moog, just to remember a bug that someone else reported 2 years ago, and 20 updates later still the same. The settings button is missing when using the "Audio Unit" version. Also there's no MPE (there is in Model D and Animoog so no excuse). In my experience: Big companies = Bad support. One-Person buisiness = Great support

A poco que te gusten los sintetizadores, debes tener este si o si. No solo capta la esencia del original, si no que aumenta sus opciones. Añade Ableton Link, AU, posibilidad de usarlo con unidad de efectos mediante ruteos de audio, presets tutoriales, arpegiador, ribon controller, las teclas de Animoog, la interface mejor diseñada y unas completas especificaciones midi y tendrás como resultado el mejor sintetizador en iOS. Su sonido es simplemente asombroso.
Imprescindible
Robert Moog estaría orgulloso de esta app. Es increíble la fidelidad hasta los más pequeños detalles con el original, maquinón de 10000 $. La diferencia con su homónimo físico es la polifonía que a mi juicio desluce un poco la calidad de un sonido monofónico inimitable y único. Recomendable 100% aunque al principio se puede uno sentir abrumado ante tanto cable y conexiones.
Sonido increíble!!
Que decir de este bicharraco... de todos los sientes emulando el sonido analógico, este es el que más se acerca. Lo bueno es que, aunque veas montón de cableado, cada vez que pinchas un cable en una entrada o salida, se "apagan" las salidas/entradas donde no puede conectar. Así que da pie para experimentación (Y mucho)
Aparte, el arpegiador, el teclado del animoog y el ribbon son un buen añadido que no venían con el original.

Si te gustan los modulares o quieres aprender síntesis. Puede abrumar un poco al principio, pero merece la pena. Viva Moog, carallo!

Usé mucho animoog, y me encanta todos los sonidos que me ofrece. Compré Moog model 15 y estoy maravillado. Puede dar un poco de miedo al principio para los novatos no músicos como yo, pero han cuidado mucho esto y han creado unos tutoriales muy claros para aprender las bases del funcionamiento de los módulos. Además han puesto a nuestra disposición un gran numero de presets de mucha calidad. Con creatividad y ganas de jugar consigues sonidos únicos con un solo instrumento. El aspecto también es inmejorable e inspirador.
Increíble
No soy de modulares, lo he intentado con Zmors y otros, pero este es otra cosa. Tiene un gran interfaz, lo que facilita empezar a meterle mano con conocimientos muy básicos, simplemente modificando presets. Enseguida se pueden hacer grandes sonidos y disfrutar un buen rato simplemente modificando el filtro o los osciladores. Además cuenta con polifonía de 4 voces y funciona muy bien con un teclado MIDI. Me ha encantado!!!!!
