Was playing around in the app and noticed my nearest location was not showing up on the in-app map. Thought it was weird but wasn’t sure if it’s a new location and hasn’t been added yet (turns out it’s not a new location). Drove to the location and the camera was not recognizing my membership. It was accurately capturing my license plate, which I triple checked that it was aligning with what I entered for the membership, but it still would not let me pass through. Thankfully a worker showed up and passed me through via manual override. They also explained that the app and website is awful and it probably won’t recognize my membership! PLEASE RESOLVE YOUR APP AND WEBSITE -- pkoeh, 2026-09-16 ### *---- "Disappointed" My wife & I live in New Castle, Pa & the nearest Mod Wash is about 20 minutes away. She got a Mod Wash membership using a credit card & really enjoyed it. And since I work out of Lordstown, Oh & pass 2 Mod Washes on way to work I thought it would be nice to have a membership. So my daughter( a physician asst) that lives in Philadelphia, got me a 100$ gift card. Loaded it to app ( took about 20-25 min) & every time I went to wash my car had issues paying for services. The attendant was always helpful & 90% were courteous. However thru investigation I have found out not all Mod Washes are using the app & navigation of the app can be confusing & not clear. Why was an app that was not ready for system wide roll out put on line & used!!!! I am away from home about 60-65 hrs a week with my commute & job. Extremely upset with apps performance & sad that my daughter’s hard earned money was spent on such an aggravating & disappointing gift. Will just start using local car wash. -- DBR NC, 2026-09-06 ### *---- "Bad customer service" Make sure when you cancel your membership that it is canceled because they will keep taking your money and tell you that you didn’t cancel!! -- paylen, 2026-08-22 ### ***** "Car wash" Nice clean wash -- Streetbikemarioio, 2026-07-08 ### *---- "Account not linked to the web login" When I login with my phone or email on the website it works fine and shows my membership and visits. When I use the app, it shows none of that. So the app is nearly pointless to manage the garage. -- Florida Otts, 2026-06-21 ### **--- "Mod wash" The app itself works well enough. My issues is that even after I put in my information my membership doesn’t link. I wish it would so I could see the date the bill comes out, add other vehicles, and cancel from the app. -- HannahLipe24, 2026-06-13 ### *---- "Doesn’t Work Everywhere" Downloaded the app… there are TWO locations in the area I work in, but neither are able to use the app. What kind of BS is this?!? It said try the app enabled locations in NJ or FL… I live in MD. 🙄 -- ferrell84, 2026-05-14 ### *---- "Doesn’t work" This app has never worked correctly for me. After stopping at one of the wash locations we got my vehicles to show, but they still aren’t connected to my monthly wash plan. Emails and phone calls to the company go unanswered to fix this. -- Dual Lynch, 2026-05-11 ### *---- "App is a scam" I put my information into the app, updated my billing payment information, and then went to go get watched. The car wash did not recognize anything and a manager at my local car wash said that the app does not work and simply teach your money. I had to pay a second time for a monthly subscription. Stay away from this app, and stay away from any payment information entered into it. Chances are you will never get your money back. -- IckBlahIck, 2026-04-02 [View all ModWash reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
