I requested to delete the account on December 3rd and they keep saying still under process. It’s almost a month and they already deducted monthly subscription fees on December 17th. The account is still open.  How can they be so irresponsible and ignore the customer request. How many emails I sent them and all they say is still under process. Just the bunch of money grabbers.

The verification process is a joke! They asked me about a credit card I had 17 years ago! How am I supposed to remember that? Since I couldn’t recall it and had no way to verify, my verification was denied. It’s strange that they can access that kind of info with just my name. What if it’s someone else’s Equifax with the same name? Anyway, I reached out to customer service, but it seems like they’re done with me. They won’t do anything about it. I failed the verification process because I couldn’t remember the credit card I had 17 years ago.

10/10. Since setting up my TFSA with Mogo, my portfolio has sky rocketed. With all of the Buffett lessons imbedded in the app, I’ve stopped gambling on stocks and now take a very diligent, value investing approach, which has helped me achieve a 22% return in the past 6 months.

App is usually great but latest update with the fire advert blocks functionality. If I can’t achieve basic workflow or easily dismiss the advert the app becomes useless. Poor UX! If this lingers I’ll look to transfer my holdings to another service provider.
