### ***-- "Still unfinished but progressing and getting more features"
Has a feature roadmap now so hoping they add watch app, slow shutter, presets and add what LUT was used to exif data. They seem to have fixed the not saving photos bug from lock screen launch. Camera control needs the option to switch between camera lenses and avoid the digital zoom. Improved from its initial release but low light shots are very noisy on 16 pro so the noise reduction might need a tweak. Progressing well but I still feel it released too early. Keep it up devs.

I, unwisely, upgraded from the original app assuming that this would be an upgrade without a loss of features. Much is made of the level of control the user has, but bulb mode exposure has gone. Now is the time for aurora photography but it doesn’t seem that this is the app to do it with. 

Additionally I would say that the UI is less intuitive than before.

Really incredibly poorly designed ui. The icons for things really don’t show clearly what they are meant to do. I have to check multiple menus to find options because it’s hard to remember which is in each one.

This app has breathed new life into my photography. Having this level of flexibility within my iPhone means I can be creative with my phone without feeling compromised. Brilliant!!! :)

The image the natural processing provides make me not mad if the phone is the only camera on me. A added bonus is it shoots open gate video, because who doesn’t love 4:3?
My only issue with this app (hopefully the devs can fix) is that when you open the app via the camera control button on the IPhone —when the iPhones state is locked— the image doesn’t save. So you can’t just quickly access the camera. You have to unlock the phone first and then take a picture. Not the end of the world, but would be a nice easy of use improvement if that could be fixed.

Some of these low star reviews are ridiculous. The web help link is great, plenty of videos online with walk throughs. It’s intended as a pro app and you 1 star it complaining you don’t understand all the buttons within the first 5minutes? Disgraceful abuse of reviewer power. 

The app made me able to leave my powerful cameras at home because I can now get such a more pleasing look in the no processed mode. Looking forward to the developers going all in on pushing no processed look & features forward.

### ****- "Stabilisation issue"
Using the iPhone 16 Pro - when stabilisation is on, the image shifts noticeably when ending any sort of movement like panning. It occurs in a sort of delayed fashion. Apps like Kino don’t have this problem, so it’s not a hardware issue.

I’ll start by saying I like the images that come from the Natural setting. I need to learn how to fine tune the exposure as I end up with overexposed photos a lot of the time. 

Love the amount of settings I can tinker with too, and I especially like the 1440p open gate light mode for videos. Allows me good resolution and aspect ratio at a fraction of the file size. 

Now, what I don’t like is taking a picture and it not saving to my phone whatsoever. At all. 

For a camera app, this should be priority number one.

A few bad reviews could have been avoided by having all documentation ready. Lots of features, like grids, are available, but maybe hidden under menus. 

The interface is pretty, but at times looks intimidating. It’s not clear immediately what some options do. 

Pictures in the “natural” mode look pretty when there’s sufficient light. Would be nice to be easier to switch between Apple processing and “natural”. As it is now, too many taps required.

Firstly it’s very easy to figure out how to use. Everything seems logically laid out and easily accessible.  Pairs awesome with my iPhone 17 pro. 

What I absolutely love is the fact that I can add my own custom luts to the app! This is an awesome feature as I have a particular look I love to use across photo and video and this helps to easily achieve that. 

Keep up the good work and I’m looking forward to seeing more updates!

So there doesn’t appear to be any option to record to a remote drive nor can you record in Open Gate ProRes. Seems the only option for Open Gate is 8bit hevc. No easy way to zoom so I’ll put on the back page and wait for a few updates to fix and make this useful because the stock app is better at this moment.
