Monal hat sich gemausert …

Ich habe eben mal wieder Monal installiert – und bin sehr angetan. Mit der 6er-Version (6.4.0 stable) hat sich viel getan - man kann es jetzt (incl. Omemo) auch s as ls Muggel nutzen ;) Noch ein Grund weniger, um Matrix zu nutzen ;)

Is basically the only Jabber client for iOS

I use this jabber client daily to communicate with my friends and family. It's the only one actually in active development available on iOS. It has it flaws but Im confident the dev team will iron those out over time.

Video Call

Wäre schön wenn Video Call endlich gehen würde, ansonsten Top.

++Better default options than Siskin ++ Omemo in single chats + Better design, more intuitive than siskin +++ Push works with single chats und multi user chats (muc) (for me on prosody servers) - call to conversations / quicksy unsuccessful, but will be implemented. maybe siskin code can be merged? - omemo in muc group chats not yet available. maybe siskin code can be merged?

Nutzt lieber ChatSecure

ChatSecure ist um Welten besser. Elementare Funktionen fehlen bei Monal komplett, wie z.B. die Möglichkeit für bestimmte Gruppenchats die Benachrichtigung zu deaktivieren. Dann bimmelt das Handy alle 10 Sekunden wenn es ein großer Gruppenchat ist und man muss das so hinnehmen oder man verlässt die Gruppe dauerhaft oder nutzt XMPP Clients wo man die Benachrichtigungen konfigurieren kann.
