Terrible Customer Service

Tried calling several times, never agents available tried blocking people on the app doesn’t even have that option. Just fees after fees gone from good to terrible.

Unexpected fees

Charging £1 a month when not using the account and £1 per transaction.

Fee for everything

I opened this basic bank account long time a ago. I had been keeping some money on the account as we know most of the basic accounts don’t get any fee just for the account. Money had been taken as a fee which I just released And I just transferred the money they also get transfer fee. Never use this bank again. Go another online banks. Free of fees…

Fees went up a lot

It was a top tier banking app, but they increased the fees a ton, without adding any new features or services. So I closed my account with them.

Terrible bank - Stay Away

Terrible bank - constantly updating terms and conditions to put fees on very simple things (including local bank transfers!!!!) and you have no choice but accepting them. Disgusting security system constantly you open the app and all of a sudden you need to go through 10 questions about your finance and circumstances, who do you think you are to ask about all of this? Please be aware that 99% of your customers using the card because it’s virtual so we can spend occasionally at places and terminates it. Fortunately it’s not my main bank and will never be, will never keep money in balance ****(you might have your cash stuck in at any point if you don’t answer the questions!!!)

Inappropriate charges

It’s so painful that anytime I transfer from the account to other account, I will be charged £1 and more charges when I withdraw from ATM machines. Monese was my main account when I first relocated to UK but I rarely use it now because I transact conveniently with my new account without charges

Poor custmer service.

Carful with them, they don’t help at all, and they charge you 1£ fee for any payment you do. Unacceptable even if you send 2£ you will still have to pay the 1£ fee

I applied for this bank like 4 days ago and I have been in processing for so long I thought it takes a few seconds to verify you or even give you a answer but they still didn’t give me one

For 10 days processing the application

It is been 10 days since I applied to open an account. My boyfriend too. And since then it has been “processing” for both of us. Is this a modern digital bank experience? No. Very disappointed.
