Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
Subscriptions may be managed by the user, and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

Farewell Money Pro. 

The new version is visually good, but designed to extract money from people, and not serve or help them. 

I made a simple one time payment and used it for over 6 years. I have over 7,000 entries, each backup is now 7MB, and with the introduction of the new version I don’t think I can continue to use it. 

Why the 5-star? Well, the initial app was so good and they kept it around and didn’t do a bate and switch, so I wish them good luck. 

Also, c’mon man, how many millions a year do you want to make? Yes, there are infrastructure cost but accounting is not all about recouping all your capital expenses in a single year.

I’ve been using the older money pro app for 10 years. I paid $30 upfront for it in 2015. I don’t mind paying for the app at purchase, but a subscription is not needed for me to use it as a simple checkbook register. iCloud sync is all that is needed for most users. Forcing users to use a subscription plan is a terrible money grab, IMHO. Worried my older app version will stop working in the future now. Offer the option to purchase the app outright, when users don’t need all the ‘plus’ and ‘gold’ features.

The previous app was incredible. One-time purchase, with a simple enough process to keep track of your transactions. Now it is ruined. Not even worth installing it. Sad.

I like the new design but it seems like 3.0 is a step backward. It’s still early and no update from developer. They just dropped 3.0 without new functionality. Where’s Apple Watch, iPad, and Mac apps for this? I will change rating once the app is ready. Been a user since the beginning as a daily user. Thanks for the new design. Looks sleek!

I’ve been using this app for years and love the original version. this new version feels off and over simplified. my only issue with the old version is when you export to CSV, it doesn’t not break out the transaction by account - which makes the data very unusable since you just have amount and date. of course they did not change this in the new version

Forcing expensive pro subscription on this new version is really greedy step. I understand that you need to benefit from releasing new app. I was using your apps for more than 15 years now, and will look for alternative application/service as Money Pro 2 will be decommissioned not far away in the future, and I need cheap way to budget and report my expenses. I once loved the previous apps. Been there since the beginning. Now in order to use this app (which the previous app said to upgrade to this app) it’s no longer an option but a requirement for you to subscribe just to use basic features to track your expenses. 

If you want to download this app you have to subscribe and pay. I recommend just using the previous app or a different app to track your finances. 69.99 for gold and 29.99 for plus per year. Would love to use this app if subscription isn’t required. Sadly, it is required.

I’m a Money Pro user who purchased the app via the one-time purchase option, and I’ve been using only the basic features. Since Apple iCloud sync is very convenient for me and I don’t need any advanced features, I haven’t subscribed to the Gold Plan or other subscriptions.

However, Money Pro 3 now only offers a subscription model and no longer allows one-time purchases for basic features, which is quite disappointing. I’m also worried about when the development team will eventually discontinue the old version of Money Pro, and that it may stop working one day due to future iOS updates.
