The exchange rate of MoneyGram is not accurate. The first time I used it, the price was good, but when I tried to use it a second time, I noticed a big difference, and it showed me a much lower rate! Overall moderate score based on my use and experience. I would like to point out my experience while sending to a overseas bank a/c:

1) The receiver name got changed automatically when the sender information was being entered.
2) App doesn't let you enter receiver information first time unless you send money. That's not always the intention of the sender at that point of time.
3) The information is not synchronized. Say your a/c already has receiver information with Shoppers drug mart but the profile don't show them.

I cancelled a transaction in the first 5 min of sending. They told me that I won’t get my money back until 10 business days. I reached them many times to follow up by email and phone and I was always receiving the same automated message or answer to not expect the money before 10 business days . It was more than $5000 and after 24 days they told me they don’t have my money, and I have to contact my bank to resolve this . It was the most horrible experience I ever had with money transfer. They are a fraud. Even their collecting points are all fake and not real branches. We went to more than 5 locations on their map and they were wrong. I will never use them again.
