I’ve tried quite a lot of budgeting/ expense apps, but none have come close to Money Things - the app is great out of the box, but it also provides ability for customising almost every aspect of what you’re recording, if that appeals to you. 

It can take a little bit to familiarise yourself, but there is a user manual that can provide some extra guidance - although it’s pretty straightforward especially if you’ve tried other budgeting / expense tracking apps. 

Great reporting features / analytics available under the free version too.

Even better is that it offers a one-off lifetime purchase at a reasonable price, which is hard to find with these types of apps as they are usually based on a monthly subscription model. 

If you’ve been struggling to find a money app that works for you, I’d recommend you give this one a try for at least a month, and it will likely be just what you were looking for!
