### **--- "Nice looking App but doesn’t work for charging your car"
I spent about 20mins of 2 occasions trying to figure this app out. Standing at the EC Charge points in Ireland scanning the QR code that directs me to the App. Created an account, put my car in, used my Merc ID, not sure why you need this. Scanned the code using the QR code button on the map as the chargers don’t appear on the map. All the QR code scanner does is direct me to My Notifications. Yet again another partnership between charger companies and app companies that don’t work.

Decided to down load the app, it initially went well then the problems started can’t get past setting up an account, I am informed that I need to verify my email and should click on the link in the email that I have been sent, problem is never received an email (yes checked junk/spam folder) each time I click on not received an email I am redirected / asked to check k my emails but nothing is there, just going round and round in circles. Just another useless app that can’t be used

I’ve spent the last couple of months with their “support” trying to get the App to what it says it can do. In my case, always charge between 00:00-07:00 unless I select “charge now”. Charge now rarely works and I’ve often been left unable to use the car because I can’t get a charge into the battery

This app is way too complicated for a home charger. All I want is to plug my car in and charge it. But there are loads of menus and settings if Tom, Dick or Harry wants to park on your drive and use your charger.
There should be a simple menu for using your home charger for your own personal use. If I could disconnect it from my SyncEv I would. If your not that Tech minded this app could put you off having an EV.

Most charging apps appear complicated but are generally self explanatory. Monta on the other hand presents you with a series of rabbit holes.

I installed it on iPhone and I have yet to be able to charge my vehicle at work. A colleague tried to show me and even struggled. In the end I just found a public charger and downloaded yet another app which low and behold was quick and easy to use.

The system is unreliable, frustrating, potentially dangerous if one has little mileage and ultimately a waste of my time.

These chargers have been installed out of range of Wi-Fi with no network coverage for you to use your phone! Who in their right mind would do this? Some of the chargers show available but when you try to connect it says the owner needs to turn them on - Haven who own the site say it’s not them but they obviously agreed to having this provider and list it as a facility on their website. Eventually managed to charge by running backwards and forwards numerous times but be careful you don’t run your charge down too low before you manage to crack this - reported to Haven but got the impression “not our problem “ but I still struggle to question why they were installed when this problem they would have been aware of - someone without an ounce of sense comes to mind
