App does not do a single thing Looks pretty However all fields remain blank & useless Enjoy the $5 you snagged from my wallet Maybe consider having a link to instructions or developing a working app
Thanks for the flat design update—but, still a ‘monthly’ expenses app that can’t schedule recurring ‘monthly’ expenses, must manually add every month. No ‘autodebit’ or auto credit options, absolutely useless.
I made the mistake of buying this thinking it might be useful. There is nothing that this will do that I can’t do faster on a piece of paper. Make it useful and review my change. Live and Learn.
Doesnt let you track your budget only your expenses. Pretty much a waste of my money if I cant track both. Not worth 5 bucks, not even close.
This app is quite easy to use, however I would love to see a feature that helped budget different aspects of spending, such as groceries or discretionary spending.
Nice App, a couple of comments. Need a side window that slides out. There you can put your pay checks per calendar date and those can be totaled at the top, but the customer has a break down of their pay per week/2weeks, etc. Another side window that slides out for a regular calculator would be nice. even though this app handles totals for you, there are times when a bunch of smaller stuff can be lumped into one item (example: Misc) and a slick calculator with the app would be a quick way to handle this without pulling up the mac calculator. Note: It needs to handle percentages as well. Thanks
Is there a way to enter my income so that it can determine the balance at any given time? What good are my expenses if I don’t know what I started with?
I bought it, but It was crushed when I ran this app. I tried to run it on my both mac book and It was still crushed… Please let me know the reason why...
This is an easy and simple app to keep track of how much you spend each day. You go in, click a day, click the + sign and add the expense. Simple. The calendar layout lets you click a day and see what you spent that day. It’s not a budget manager, it’s not a financial planning software it just keeps a simple record of what you spend each day, whether it’s cash, credit or otherwise it’s still money spent. All I do is put in an amount I am budgeting for the month, then each day record where I spent money that day. Spent $2.38 at McDonald’s check, Spent $10.00 on gas check, Spent $45 at Macy’s check. Click on a day and I can see that on that day I spent this much money. I’m not planning my retirement or anything I just want a quick and simple look at where I spent my money on any given day without having to open a financial planning program like iBank or Quicken where everything has accounts and categories etc. Many of the reviews says it lacks this feature or that feature, the reality is that this is not an app that is like Quicken or will keep track of your investments it’s a very simple way to keep a record of what you spent on any given day. I have been using a similar app on my iPhone for years and this one came on the mac and I had to get it. Very simple. For more complex things I use Quicken. At the end of the month you see your starting budget, what you spent, and what’s either left over or how much you went over. The first of the month start fresh. Why does everyone want to muck it up by adding unnecessary features. I like the simplicity that this app has. I can click on say Jan 5th and see that I spent $7.90 @ Panda Express, $10 @ Hess and $32.98 @ Apple. Plain and Simple - might be all the information I need in that moment, but, If I want to know more I will refer to my Quicken app and my entries there will say that the $7.90 was on my debit card for lunch at Panda Express, the $10 @ Hess was for Gasoline with my debit card and I used my Apple Gift Card to buy an iPhone case at the Apple Store which totaled $32.98.
