I have my card number memorized so I thought this would be useful since the water machine didn’t accept Apple Pay directly. Unfortunately the app declined my card upon setup multiple times. I double checked it was entered correctly, and even drove back home to get my card and it worked fine directly on the machine. Would have been nice if Primo water machines had Apple Pay so I could have avoided this useless experience. The only way it would be useful is if every device in the world used the app so you already had it downloaded. Thankfully, have not seen it very often. Asks 60 questions sends emails and it’s generally painful to sign up for the entire purpose of paying a few dollars at a vending machine or other device. Once you have money in your account, setting up the machines and using the balance isn’t that hard. It’s great for younger kids that don’t carry a debit card or don’t have things like Apple Pay. But the login process leaves a lot to be desired. There’s no username and password, and no concept of parent and child accounts. To login, you need to enter in the cell phone number of the user, and then wait for a 2FA code. When you have kids at the location, and parents at home trying to add money to their account, it’s this frustrating song and dance that could be much better implemented. The kid has to text the code back to the parent, who can then add funds to the account. It’s good implementation you have the phone in your possession, but I would prefer a traditional username and password, maybe even with the ability to add money to multiple Monyx accounts. -- 603JP, 2024-09-13 ### *---- "Scam" This is to most useless app i have downloaded on my phone.
