They are preying on people who won’t use the app regularly, as there is an arbitrary time limit set on YOUR MONEY that you add to your account. If it passes this time limit it cannot be refunded. One star, account deleted. -- Joshua11459, 2025-01-02 ### *---- "Useless" Just let me pay, no need to have this dumb app for a middle man, let me fill my water jugs easy…. -- gabriel1187, 2025-01-01 ### *---- "Not worth the trouble" Must just be a info grab on the app. Still didn’t work Dumb system to call in -- Elrodda1, 2024-12-04 ### *---- "Apple Pay not working and card" Today is my first time using Monyx and for some reason, I tried to use Apple pay and it’s giving me an unexpected error when I try to pay with Visa it worked but Apple Pay did not. I tried it with another card. It gave me the same error message and I can’t use Visa card or Apple Pay I hope you can reach out to me and help me to fix this so I don’t have to worry about this Kayden Lancaster -- StarsquadMolly1000, 2024-12-01 ### *---- "Not connected to machine" It allows you to upload funds however, you cannot use the machine at all. It is completely disconnected from the machine, and the funds in the account are inaccessible for any use. -- lololajshd, 2024-11-28 ### *---- "Card declined for unknown reason" I created an account so I could fill up my water jugs without driving back home after forgetting my debit card. I have my card number memorized so I thought this would be useful since the water machine didn’t accept Apple Pay directly. Unfortunately the app declined my card upon setup multiple times. I double checked it was entered correctly, and even drove back home to get my card and it worked fine directly on the machine. Would have been nice if Primo water machines had Apple Pay so I could have avoided this useless experience. I deleted the app and my account deleted immediately after this waste of time. -- McCanyon13, 2024-10-13 ### *---- "Useless" Basically a shell app with no use. Nothing works. -- Jimbojumbo45, 2024-10-06 ### *---- "Unnecessary" Absolute failure of an app. Used for things that should have a card reader themselves. The only way it would be useful is if every device in the world used the app so you already had it downloaded. Thankfully, have not seen it very often. Asks 60 questions sends emails and it’s generally painful to sign up for the entire purpose of paying a few dollars at a vending machine or other device. Did not accept card information either. -- JamesonT5, 2024-10-03 ### ***-- "Login needs improvement" We own a couple of vending machines at a school, but also have kids at that school that use the vending machines. Once you have money in your account, setting up the machines and using the balance isn’t that hard. It’s great for younger kids that don’t carry a debit card or don’t have things like Apple Pay. But the login process leaves a lot to be desired. There’s no username and password, and no concept of parent and child accounts. To login, you need to enter in the cell phone number of the user, and then wait for a 2FA code. When you have kids at the location, and parents at home trying to add money to their account, it’s this frustrating song and dance that could be much better implemented. The kid has to text the code back to the parent, who can then add funds to the account. It’s good implementation you have the phone in your possession, but I would prefer a traditional username and password, maybe even with the ability to add money to multiple Monyx accounts. -- 603JP, 2024-09-13 ### *---- "Scam" This is to most useless app i have downloaded on my phone. Why would it need to download the app just to buy a water? Are you freaking serious!
