It makes saving so easy. I’ve not quite made the jump to doing all banking with Monzo, but I am on the way. I used to love this bank, but over the past 1-3 years, they have continuously updated their bank policies and are charging excessively for any bank related functions such as withdrawals (it’s a monthly allowance). I understand they’re virtual so many functions, they must piggy-back on existing infrastructures. Any complex or actual banking should be conducted with a proper physical & digital bank. Monzo is an add-on bank to simplify some aspects of virtual transactions — though that isn’t as impressive as Revolut that’s now become regulated as a bank and has much more virtual functions (temporary cards, instant virtual cards, currency exchanges, crypto, etc.). I told monzo that the person who owns the business have fled away and nowhere to be found and therefore they can still contact their bank to get my money back. But they refused to help me and say it’s a civil case, but I disagree because that it is not a civil case when the business owner has ran away with the money.
