The way moods are scored over time doesn’t really make sense - it rates your mood for the day as the highest level you selected rather than an average of all your scores (or possibly rounds up), so if you’re using the app to track patterns it could be misleading. I purchased a subscription a few years ago hoping that it would improve over time, but it seems like no one is actively working on the app anymore aside from OS updates and bug fixes. The feedback and feature forms are no longer active. I appreciate that the devs have provided a one time purchase for premium options, as I really don’t have the option to support a subscription like almost all GOOD apps require. That raises Moody to a full 5-stars in my opinion, and makes the app GREAT. It’s been fantastic to help me track my moods throughout the day, and adding notes helps me keep track of moments where my anxiety or depression are causing the fluctuations or if it’s an external factor. Things I love: it’s super easy to log moods and track them, especially quickly There’s a journal if you want/need The stylized icons based on emoji are fantastic Customizing moods is easy, fun, effective for personalization Would make it even better: The time graph doesn’t accurately represent the full range of moods. I guess it “averages” a day but in practice what I find is it pulls most days up to the highest mood logged that day. When I use the lowest rating it’s often only one or two of the logs in that given day, which means that at a glance on the over-time graph it looks like I never hit rock bottom which is just totally untrue. In the end this makes it really difficult to see what days had terrible moods vs. just poor mood. In the end this information would be way more useful to me. I’m finding over time Moody isn’t as helpful as I’d like just due to this. Something else that’s just a quality of life thing - the journals (as with all the other apps in the series) don’t allow paragraphs or new lines which means the whole journal becomes a massive wall of text and there’s no way to do things like listing things out so information can be pulled at a glance. From an accessibility perspective the text size on the mood page is so minuscule and the only text size option is for the journal summaries. Which brings me to my last quality of life improvement - it’d be really great to be able to enter a 1-3 line summary for journal entries that are displayed in the list instead for better at-a-glance info and more usability. -- neonaderyn, 2021-02-13 ### **--- "Help to restore purchase" Every time I open the app I need to click two places to restore my purchase.
