I just got my Moona and I am frankly shocked at how crappy my experience has been already. 1. Written instructions in the box frequently contradict the instructions in the app. 2. The drawings in the app do not match the device. Either I got an outdated device or the app hasn’t been updated to the newest model. 3. The machine has painfully obvious design failures. For example, the funnel supplied to fill the machine does not fit the machine. Also, the stopper for the water tank is almost impossible to turn closed due to obstruction from the lid. Also, keeping the tank upright is very difficult because of a rounded base and a heavy power cord. 4. The app is poorly written. For instance, some critical information about pairing is hidden behind a barely noticeable question mark icon. The instructions in the app do not include the information needed to pair and do not indicate the need to read the info behind the tiny question mark. 5. The base cannot be paired to my phone. I have the latest iPhone. I have years of experience in IT. I have never been unsuccessful in pairing a Bluetooth device before. I tried resetting Bluetooth, resetting the base, resetting my phone, keeping the phone various distances from the base, putting the base into pairing mode, using the written instructions, using the instructions in the app, and using the instructions in the email sent from Moona, and every available combination of the mentioned procedures. 6. Moona sent an email with a link for support. The link goes to a site “that does not exist”. 7. Clicking on a link on the Moona site with online chat support starts with a welcome message but no one responds. I waited 2 hours. No response. Update: 7/6/21. The developers responded to me 1 YEAR LATER. They say to contact them on their website. I have. The app is broken, the pump/reservoir is unusable. This was potentially a good idea for a product, but this is the most failed execution I have ever seen. Don’t be fooled by the “developer response” to the complaints. They are not responsive. They are doing minimal social media engagement to keep selling their completely unusable product. Second Update: I have unfortunately purchased many failed devices for decades. I’m a side sleeper and my face was always too hot, so I’d wake up, flip the pillow, go back to sleep (maybe!), and repeat. No more!!!
