Morganton News Herald

My wife and I enjoy this newspaper and it’s local flair. The stories are well written, the editorials good, and coverage just fine, but..... we both wish they would inform us a little better about business openings and closings and DISCONTINUE publishing pictures of wanted criminals. We have never seen that before in a local paper it gives the impression that Morganton is a hotbed for thieves and drug addicts, something we know from our travels is not true.

I love that I get both local and national updates and alerts. Excellent app and the News Herald does a great job covering local news. Good journalism is important now more than ever. Well done.

I love getting my local news from an app. Morganton rules!

I used this app to stay up to date with local news until it was changed to require logon. What's the deal with only allowing access to 25 articles a month?!? BTW, if you view the same article multiple times they deduct from the 25 for each viewing. Also, there doesn't seem to be any way to sign up in the app to log in even if I wanted to. WORTHLESS.

I gave it a 4 star rating due to their on time coverage of local news and weather. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 is because I wish news stories were updated with new stories more often. I also miss the daily police blotter that use to be posted on this app at an earlier time.
