So this hasn’t been updated in a while, no new features but a good alternative to Paper. Glad I found this and hope it gets an update.

Cannot make a PDF of the journal plus Print Promise not realized.
Either provide the print function or drop it. Stop advertising that it will be coming! At least allow a user to make a pdf of the journal?
Update on False Advertising
It is now 2024 and there still is only a promise of future printing of books. This is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Otherwise I like using it.

Needs a good pencil
Great app but is missing that sketchy pencil feel with options. Like a sharp, slightly used and dull pencil which procreate has.

The app is really good! I love it, the page flips are really neat, and it’s just fun to use. I’ve been using it for quite a while. However, Why the heck do people need to BUY BRUSHES?! You have to get a PRO version of this app to use 99% of its content! That’s fricken stupid and I have to pay for my favorite one! WHY WOULD I HAVE TO PAY FOR A BRUSH THAT SHOULD BE FREE ANYWAYS?! THE PENCIL ONE IS FRICKEN SWEET AND I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT?!?! I’m not spending money on 6 BRUSHES! Plus, selling data isn’t very pogchamp of you tbh. :/
Not Great
I downloaded this to use as an art journal and I regret spending money on the subscription. I can’t set an image as a background, clip a page to stay in the boundaries of the page, or lock parts while I adjust others leading to me accidentally moving something unintended instead and I can’t undo movements. The pens and brushes are a joke and there seems to be no easy way to access any sort of settings. Tried adding text and when I went to select fonts the list was empty. Don’t spend money on this. It’s not worth it. I wish I could get a refund.
They don’t update or improve
Don’t get me wrong. I love trace and I use all their apps pro subscription. For years I have been suggesting improvements to at least come close to moleskin flow or paper or even apple note.but nothing ! No updates no improvements. All pens are not scaled well for the size of the paper so you can really draw anything on one side. It’s just really poor compared to other design & art journals
Needs a few things...
This app needs the ability to insert pages, rearrange them, and for once and for all, come through on the promise to be able to have a journal printed through moleskin!
Great app but could use a few improvements.
Great app. Been using it for a whole day straight and can’t put it down. Could easily be five star with just a couple of features. 1. Full screen mode. Seems like something that should’ve been there from the beginning. Feels a little cheap in its current state. Full screen mode would help it feel more like a full sketching app. 2. Option to hide menus. When making the sketchbook as big as I can sketching, the menu often gets in the way. Should be a way to temporarily hide menu. 3. Double tap to use eraser. Another one that seems very basic. Almost every notetaking and sketching app has this. For me, eraser is just as important as pencil. With these three things added, this would easily be a five star app.
