Description

This is a very simple touchscreen-based Morse Code straight key. Practice sending Morse Code on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Touch the display screen and the device will sound out a tone. The duration of the tone is controlled by how long you touch the device screen. Send Dots using quick touches, and Dashes by touches held down 3 times longer.

The tone frequency is adjustable from 300 Hz to 1200 Hz in the Settings. The volume can be adjusted to a lower level as well. There is also an iambic keyer (mode A) with adjustable dot speed available.

A Morse Code tutorial is not included. You can find one on Wikipedia or on the ARRL website.

Great practice key with very little lag

I’ve found several morse apps where there is a lag. I’ll be using this app for a long time.

Seems to Work on iPhone 13

I am going to make another attempt to learn Morse code. Seeing some people were having trouble with the app, I thought I should include specifics about the combination of hardware & software. This is an iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 15.7 (I will likely upgrade to iOS 16 in a month or so.)

This app does exactly what it advertises and it does it well. Customizable tone, no delay, everything you can ask for, really!

Broken in iOS 15

It seems broken on my 13 Pro Max with 15

I find this app very useful in my opinion. Though, I would like it so we could send dashes without being in Iambic mode.

No longer working after the latest ios update

DONT DOWNLOAD IT

This app produces NO sound whatsoever—no matter how many times I press it. It simply doesn’t reach its goal. Do NOT waste your time with this app! If I could I would give this app a negative amount of stars!

Great

I love how this app is simple and easy compared to the others. My brother also wrote a comment mentioning his sister being “annoying” with it so I just had to write a good rating to make up for it. Great app I have had no ads and or difficulties.

Very annoying

My sister uses this app 24/7 and now it’s just a constant ringing in my ear
