MotoMeteo shows rain, wind, and temperature along your route, timed to when you expect to reach each stretch of road. Use the map and weather charts to see where conditions change on your commute, weekend ride, or motorcycle tour. Prepare for the road ahead • See where rain is forecast so you can have your rain gear ready. • Check wind, gusts, and visibility along your planned route. • Choose what to wear with guidance on how the temperature may feel while riding. • Review guidance on sun glare and ice risk before leaving. Your route, ready to ride Choose your start, destination, and departure time. Add stops or import a GPX route to check the weather for a ride you've already planned. Save favorite routes, share the plan with your riding group, and open the route in your navigation app. Add your next route and check the forecast before you go. Plan a limited number of trips for free. An optional paid subscription adds unlimited trip planning and automatic weather comparisons for alternative routes and departure times. Weather and road conditions can change. Use the forecast as planning guidance and always ride to the conditions. The idea is great but still needs a bit of work. The idea is exactly what I think a lot of riders are looking for. However the premium features (for me) weren’t working once I subscribed. Other than that, this app has great potential if it continues to get updates. Knowing what to expect throughout a ride, without having to check every individual cities weather is huge! Theoretically, the preference would be to be able to look at a map that depicts your route and also shows you real-time weather that is occurring along your route you can avoid, speed up or slow down accordingly. Windy is an example of real time weather showing active rain and lightning events along a planned route but it’s not connected to a mapping or route planning application.
