Not sure about bad rating." I tried this with my brother in preparation of a cruise ship. After a little trouble pairing, the app works fantastically! I hope they continue to develop it. -- H0wManyLicks, 2025-09-13 ### **--- "To limited offline map size" The offline map file size is way too restricted. Even the upper circle of the Yellowstone map already exceeds the limit, which makes it really hard to keep track of my friends during the trip. -- Weixin_Y, 2025-08-22 ### *---- "Offline Maps feature is a joke!" Get rid of ridiculous 6000 tile limit! Can’t even download a day hike worth of satellite+street size map! My iPhone has plenty of space and this app imposes an artificial limit on how many tiles you can download! -- BK_man (US), 2025-08-03 ### ***** "Confused by the low rating" Idk I got the app, it paired quick and easy with my radio, got my wife’s phone and paired hers in like 5 seconds and added her profile to mine and sent messages, all within like 2 minutes of unboxing. The app is clean and smooth, responsive, not buggy, and easy to comprehend. The map seems nice haven’t really used but it overall seems like a well rounded simple app and it pairs great with the obviously great walkie talkies? Again I’m throughly confused by the low star reviews, maybe they were for older versions or something. -- YaBoiWhitePepper, 2025-08-02 ### *---- "No Help!" Can’t even login. No access of directions. A real shoddy app! -- Heyma, 2025-06-19 ### *---- "Account creation doesn’t work and the email for support gets bounced back as undeliverable" When I talked to support they said uninstall and reinstall then hung up. That didn’t work either. -- Joe Tones, 2025-06-18 ### *---- "Useless" Cannot even create an account. Receiving “request failed” notice but no reason as to why. -- Jrrbssfjy, 2024-12-29 ### **--- "Map screen blank" There are no maps on-line. Also could not download anything for off line use. The map screen is just a black canvas. Old school gps used to be this way and we made it work but that was 20 years ago. Get it together Motorola. -- Fishthedrift, 2024-08-20 ### *---- "Unusable app" I bought the T803’s to use with this app. Finally got the offline maps downloaded l, members added and location points saved. A few hours later I opened the app only to discover everything was deleted. I added everything back in and downloaded offline maps again. Hours later, everything was deleted again. Tried it on another phone and did the same thing. Seriously, what is Motorola thinking here? It’s August of 2024 and the app hasn’t been updated since last year. Also, the T803’s we could barely get a mile out of them on a straight road line of sight. Just absolute junk. -- iamgivingareview, 2024-08-04 ### *---- "Beware" Bought 4 and was unable to even download a map let alone use it to navigate or communicate. Could not do this at home let alone in the field. Concept is very cool but does not appear to perform and will be returning the devices. -- Truthful too, 2024-07-04 [View all Motorola Talkabout reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Motorola Talkabout Discovered Keywords -
