This is a warning to anyone thinking about using his service. This was supposed to be a free gift to me that is anything but free or a gift. MoviePass automatically charged my card $288.00 without my authorization. After I had to cancel my card attached to the account I’ll be closing the account for good and not looking back. -- 11:-45))))789, 2025-07-06 ### *---- "Ripoff" A months worth of credits isn’t even enough to watch one movie after their fees. -- Eric.C0123, 2025-07-05 ### ***** "It’s been delightful!" MoviePass has made me a better movie person! I never miss a movie now. -- Lalalaldon, 2025-07-03 ### *---- "Still need to avoid!" I wish I never gave them another chance. Their experience now is overpriced and fundamentally broken. Incorrect theaters linked from booking pages, random credit price variances, high prices, incorrect bookings… it’s really really bad. Don’t bother trying to reach out to support, they’re trained to berate you and make any issue your fault. Theaters have made their own programs, you’re way better off with those now. This sham of a product won’t last. -- GHnSF, 2025-07-02 ### *---- "Login" Doesn’t let me login!! -- Vas$, 2025-06-20 ### *---- "They charge you a service fee" The service fee to get a movie tickets through their app makes the cost go over the monthly allowance you get. So you have 2 options, either buy some credits or wait another month for more credits. -- NomNomNam, 2025-06-15 ### *---- "Not worth it." The pass doesn’t even cover 1 movie when ordering through the app There are enough credits to cover the movie , however if you order through the app there is an additional credit charge that the 10$ pass does not cover -- JKS COC, 2025-06-14 ### ****- "Improved app!" Don’t know what happened to my original review, but it reported on the many issues this app had in the recent past. Newer updates have solved most. A few remain, but they are comparatively minor. Don’t be fooled, this service is a 10/10, the four out of five stars is because the app still has room for improvement. Specifically, access to support really needs to be improved. The button to get to it disappears outside of business hours, and there is no easily accessible indication of the hours. I think the option should always be available, and if you click it after hours, it should tell you when support will be available again. Thankfully, I haven’t had to reach out to support recently because of all the bug fixes in the app. Keep up the good work, MoviePass team. Cannot recommend this service highly enough if you’re a theater fan. Side note: my subscription page still says I’m getting a discount that expired half a year ago. Not a big deal, I know how much I’m paying, but just wanted to point this out because it might confuse others. -- dinotsarr, 2025-06-13 ### *---- "Can’t log in with new update" Until this update I was always able to use it. I can’t get in or reset my password. -- Beckyemaddox, 2025-06-10 ### **--- "Won’t let me log in" No option to manually login -- Lixmnv, 2025-06-08 [View all MoviePass reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## MoviePass Discovered Keywords - theater - movie theaters - movie tickets - movies theaters - movies - movie theater - theater app - fathom events - moviepass ## Apps Similar to MoviePass - [BookMyShow | Movies & Events](https://apptail.io/app/bookmyshow-movies-events-oV/united-states) - [Sun NXT : Live TV & Movies](https://apptail.io/app/sun-nxt-live-tv-movies-Xhm/united-states) - [aha - 100% Local Entertainment](https://apptail.io/app/aha-100-local-entertainment-cFt/united-states) - [The Criterion Channel](https://apptail.io/app/the-criterion-channel-GUH/united-states) - [Alamo Drafthouse](https://apptail.io/app/alamo-drafthouse-XzP/united-states) - [RunPee](https://apptail.io/app/runpee-Oncb/united-states) - [Cinemark Theatres](https://apptail.io/app/cinemark-theatres-USzb/united-states) - [Atom - Movie Tickets & Times](https://apptail.io/app/atom-movie-tickets-times-XSzb/united-states) - [ETV Win](https://apptail.io/app/etv-win-pXTb/united-states) - [A24](https://apptail.io/app/a24-VSXm/united-states) ## MoviePass Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/moviepass-nlVd/united-states) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/moviepass-nlVd/united-kingdom) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
