Great app needs tweaking
This is a great app - but it needs tweaking for iOS 18. Some of the functionality is affected when used with CarPlay

There are lots of websites with all kinds of audiobooks dubbed by professional actors and enthusiasts. Most of such audiobooks are distributed as folders with multiple audiofiles in different formats.
I'm, the author of the app, listen to audiobooks all the time. Therefore, I did my best to make MP3 Audiobook Player a tool that has everything necessary to make this process intuitive and convenient.
• Plays audiobooks in MP3, MP4, OPUS, OGG, FLAC, AWB, M4B, M4A formats (without DRM protection).
• Adjustable playback quality (0.5x to 5.0x).
• Boost sound ( for audiobooks with low volume )
• The book cover is loaded from an image file in the book’s folder or from an embedded image from an audio file.
• Automatically saves the current playback position for all audiobooks.
• Supports CarPlay and integrations with over 50 other car models from Ford, GM, Mazda, BMW, Jaguar, Landrover and many more
• Jump to any file (can be enabled in settings).
• Supports standard headphone controls.
• Supports Apple Watch.
• Playback control from the Control Center and Block screen.
• A sleep timer with adjustable sleep periods or sleep after the end of the current chapter.
• Possibility to add/remove books through iTunes and from the computer via Wi-Fi
• Support WebDav for adding audiobooks directly from Explorer on PC or from Finder on MacOS

Best app for bring your own books
I've used this app for a couple of years now, as it has always been one of the best on IOS but still wasn't overly happy with it. Over the years it's improved slowly and now I feel it's a great app. The selection of ways to upload audiobooks is sure to be good for everyone and most recently the improvements in auto rewind and brief pausing when system sounds play makes the listing a lot more enjoyable. Great work.
Useless
Constantly turns itself off. Need the developer to update 😡😡
I gave it 5 stars before, however ...
I have not been able to use this app properly for close to 2 months, since the second last update. Irrative brehaviors such as unable to change the speed of playback, and when you can (resume) change the speed of playback, the voice of audiobooks became harsh, hollowed and with some echo the moment you increase the speed of playback. Emailed support twice already (missed one in the middle) but with the lack of speed of patch and how it affects me, I am frustrated....
One of the Best Apps in the App Store
This app is fantastic. All formats of audiobooks work perfectly. No more mucking around with converting formats in order to listen to audiobooks on the iPhone. I also love the way it handles cover art. If an image file is in the book’s folder it incorporates it into the display. It is one of my most used apps. Thanks for creating it.
Useless
Absolutely useless on iPad Pro: no operation can be completed successfully, no meaningful feedback, and bad English in the UI. I wish I could demand a refund.

Never had a problem with this app works perfectly
Use it daily and love it
I listen to a lot of audio books, and this app has been the easiest when it comes to uploading files to my phone. Layout is easy to use, and it's very stable.
Does exactly what I want
I wanted a player that would remember exactly where I left off for multiple playlists (eg a book), this does that and has lots of helpful features.
A disappointment
I bought this from the watch app store assuming you could upload audiobooks to the watch itself. It turns out the watch app simply controls the audio book on your phone. This is nothing that audible or any other mp3 player does. The UI is pretty standard but it does get the job done, unfortunately not the job I would have liked.
