At all. Especially once we fully knew Peloton was going to stop communicating with the old app and it was going away imminently. They still allowed renewals/purchases of the old app and didn’t provide communication outside of the Facebook group, which wasn’t appropriate. That said, there is no other app that compares to mPaceline and if you’re in the Facebook community group, the developer is extremely responsive (he also answers emails). The live tracking and availability of metrics is amazing. It lets me ride Power Zones on my non-Peloton bike and converts Peloton resistance call outs in real time and I love it for that. Once you get it set up, I find it really easy to use. There are many more updates coming, so I know it’s going to be great again. I’m assuming that Peloton’s changes forced the rapid creation of this new version, and I appreciate that it’s now using an official Peloton API and therefore likely to be durable. But it feels like a big step down from the previous version. For now, I lost much of the value of my annual subscription for the prior version when it was suddenly removed from the App Store with no notice, much less refunds. On top of that, this new version has a much clunkier interface and so far seems much less feature-rich. Yesterday, my bike stopped linking to the app. I contacted the developer, who explained peloton made changes and a new app was created. They REFUSE to honor the remaining time on my subscription saying they can’t confirm payment. I sent them the receipt!! Still nothing but apologies. Luckily I was able to request a refund through the Apple Store.
