Enjoyed using the app before, but since the latest update, every time I open the app it asks to personalize the feed, and every time I return to home from the tabs or any other page it does the same. It’s only been doing it since the change from Microsoft Start to MSN (Start)

It’s so difficult to actually read content I’m interested in because there are so many ads! I have Outlook Premium and I don’t expect to be flooded with ads when I’m paying for Microsoft services.

I specifically avoided choosing celebrity news, entertainment, lifestyle and similar categories when I first ran this app. Immediately after confirming I got a feed full of, you guessed it, celebrity gossip, entertainment news and lifestyle fluff. Instant delete.

### *---- "It doesn’t care about your choices"
I’ve set up the app that I am NOT interested in any sport related news. Still, the start page starts with 4 sport news! I mark them as I do NOT want anything from those sources but all what it does just randomise the same 4 sources and shows me the same exact 4 sport news but in a different order. 
Oh and the ads are SCAMS like the ads on the start page of the Edge browser on Computers… 
I was expecting something better from Microsoft…

What a piece of rubbish! The old app was terrible and while yes this has some good stuff in it, you need to be American and from California to be interested.
It can’t locate me and it doesn’t even have New Zealand as a location???
