This app is awful! Filled with ads, junk and things you don’t want. Plus the rewards option has vanished from both apps and homepage! Cannot open it anymore! Such a broken, ugly app. The msn start app was ok as you could do Microsoft rewards without any unwanted bloatware. Now it’s just awful! Ads, tons of things you don’t want. No one would use this as a search engine, but that’s what it is now. A search engine app with ads and junk. Awful! A Microsoft rewards app like msn start was, would have been nice. Not this!
How satisfying it is to click on a link to a current news story and immediately be able to read a couple of hundred words of a well written report. No request to submit an email address or sign up for anything. I have been looking for an app like this for some time.
I don't really understand why Microsoft is making an application like this, it isn't about empowering people to do more. It's about distractions and advertising.
New overhaul keeps me in a constant loop of selecting “my interests”. Microsoft just love making functional products worse
Rubbish
Microsoft, MSN, Bill Gates… what a joke of an approach trying to force people to download an app just to read the news. I hope this strategy fails miserably. Here’s why: 1. Stop with this nonsense: Forcing users to download an app just to access content that should be freely available on the web is a bad user experience. 2. Stop using free-to-read websites: Many of the news articles shared on MSN come from sources that are already free to access. There’s no need to gate content behind an app download. It’s just a greedy move by a company that should know better.
Why Microsoft continue to make their products worse after every update is mind boggling to me. This update to MSN clearly hasn’t been tested. It’s a mess. Microsoft please do better.
You can’t use the app anymore as it just keeps asking you to select interests. You do and it asks again and again and never stops. Useless now! Don’t they bother doing beta testing? Or even alpha testing! What a joke.
Your app has a fault, a constant loop going back to the “Welcome to the MSN” page.
