Can’t link number to app. Can’t verify with selfie and Id. Went to store .. no help either

New UI is terrible
The old app was so efficient and really useful and I don’t get why you had to redesign the working app and turning it into something so awful
Account linking
I cant even link my account on this app because of the verification that fails

What was the point of this upgrade
This is so useless, not user friendly, i can’t do anything with it. What were you thinking? This is bad, y’all flawed big time. You need to do better, it’s bad in every way.
Cannot link number
After multiple attempts to link the number using a selfie and images of ID card, it just says it can’t be verified even after taking a clear selfie and clear images of my ID. This app is a waste of time and ultimately getting sick of using MTN.
From bad to worse
My previous review spoke about the awful registration / face selfie journey, & about how I was unable to find my current data balances. Another update to this review. I accidentally discovered where to check my balances. Poor UX but at least I finally know where. But now I’m trying to actually buy additional data using my account. This is impossible to achieve unless I buy airtime on my banking app. NOTHING ELSE WORKS. AGAIN. LIKE YOUR OLD APP. I tried to adjust my spend limit and I just get a permanent technical error (why offer the option then?). And then I try and call - because that’s the only alternative provided - and the IVR is harder to navigate than a maze made of spiderwebs. Congrats guys, I’ll end up either in a store to resolve my issues or better yet, I may actually port after 25 years.
Recharge for others failing
Had my 2 kids linked on my app so I can buy data for them…this disappeared after the recent July update. You can no longer “buy for someone else” if you allow limited access and recharge for others doesn’t work either. Seems you have to allow full access to contacts for this to work now - not ideal. Please fix urgently..
Why do I need another profile with MTN
App deleted. I am not setting another profile for no good reason. I have three profile with MTN SA already you are just ridiculous or have no idea how your own systems work. As an ex employee I am embarrassed for you. Back to ussd at least that works
