Fui usuário do ProtonVPN por muitos meses, e achava que os problemas que eu tinha eram normais em se tratando de VPN. Conexão MUITO lenta, instável e com leaks (no Linux, então, é um inferno). Alguns sites, inclusive, bloqueiam os IPs do Proton (Americanas, Ponto Frio, Casas Bahia, etc). Mesmo usando TCP... Sem falar que você precisa se identificar (com número de telefone) para usar. Aliás, a maioria dos VPNs é assim... Mullvad é outro nível, outra história. Usa o moderno WireGuard, que é fantástico. Conexões rápidas (server do Brasil é uma bala!), estáveis e IPs sempre limpos. O mais importante: VOCÊ NÃO SE IDENTIFICA EM MOMENTO ALGUM para abrir uma conta. Aceita Bitcoin e até dinheiro em envelope. Tem cliente nativo (não são aquelas marmotas a base de Electron) até para Linux, com killswitch, e suporte a IPV6. NUNCA tive leaks com o Mullvad. Não precisa de plano, zero commitment. Paga o mês, usa, ponto final. Pra mim, não tem concorrente.

Servidores rápidos, seguro e com boa política de privacidade. Uso há mais de ano e não tenho do que reclamar.
